I didn’t like that the information about the Christmas event was weekends only. I called several times prior to booking. Your brochure said nothing about weekends only except about Santa only being available on Saturday

The view was nice and everything is within walking distance. It was just me and my wife for our anniversary, definitely coming back with the kidoes next time. The front desk gave us complimentary champagne! Super nice staff.

We’ve stayed in this hotel many times. Over the years we’ve seen a decline in cleanliness, service and overal conditions. This time the room didn’t get cleaned once, two times we had to go to the front desk because not everything was replaced. We picked up towels of the floor , bought stuff for the little kitchen ourselves (one plate, no spoons, one glass for the whole cottage), because at some point we couldn’t even be bothered anymore. Front desk personnel correctly empathetic, but didn’t really care. We would receive a (small) discount (about 50 dollars), even that was forgotten. Definitely not the standard it used to be anymore…(and no, i can’t blame them for the 4(!!) police cars that showed up at the property one evening. Not a clue what happened, and don’t want to know. Had plans to return this summer and needed two cottages for that, but we will definitely be looking for another place 🙄

Although DirectTV had an issue on the property for 36 hours and we couldn’t watch our Thanksgiving Day Parade and Football games. The wonderful Lakehouse reception staff waived our resort fee which was a very nice surprise.
