If you are not into all the hustle and bustle and looking for peace and seclusion, Seaside Casa is for you!

Seaside Casa is located on the very southern tip of the island, 5 1/2 miles from San Pedro Town.

This one bedroom suite is ideal for a couple or a family of four. We offer an air mattress as well.

We can recommend a licensed guide for fishing, snorkeling, cruising, and more... If interested in the boat please inquire for price. We also have 2 double seat kayaks for our guests free of charge.

The Space

The guest suite (first floor level) features a queen size bed in the one bedroom and it’s own private ensuite bathroom. The modern kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

Guest Access

Just off the outside large covered patio is a private pool to cool off on a hot tropical day. The pool has a swim up bar area and a charcoal bbq grill. Guests supply their own charcoal. There is also a beautiful Palapa at the end of the pier. This is a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the view, various fish and birds. Our previous guests were lucky and be to see dolphins 🐬 🐬 pass by, If you are an early riser you can bring out your morning coffee and watch some of the fishermen passing by going out to sea to catch their daily fresh fish, to sell to the restaurants for that evening.

Interaction with Guests

If you have any questions or issues during your stay, just contact us by the site’s email. We will be happy to help out in anyway. No need to worry, we will respect your privacy. The suite has it's own private entrance. The only time you will have contact with us, is when you need something. Also, if you are interested, you can email us with a grocery list and we can have everything stocked for you on your arrival for an extra fee. The last thing you will want to do after traveling all day is grocery shop in an unfamiliar store.

Other Things to Note…

When leaving to go to town, please turn off both a/c ‘s, lights and coffee maker. Thank you .

When retiring, if you shut the a/c off in the living room and shut the bedroom door. The a/c in the bedroom will work more efficiently. Thank you.

FYI The construction site has come to an halt for almost 2 year.

During rainy season the sand road can accumulate some puddles. Welcome to island life! The beauty of our waters are so worth it!

We supply WiFi and Netflix only.

Bring your bug repellent the bugs come out at dawn and dusk.

Keep in mind most restaurants take charge cards but some are cash only. San Pedro does have ATM machines.

If interested in the boat the guide prefers cash only, due to not having a credit card machine. If you like to fish, snorkel or just love being on the water, this place is for you! The guide will be happy to clean and fillet the fish you caught for your dinner and all you will have to do is cook it. You can also take your filleted fish to most restaurants and they will cook it for you and add some side dishes for an reasonable price.

We will help make your stay as fun and enjoyable as possible.

There is a fee of $25.00 for each additional person after two.

9 days of relaxation
The home was perfect for what the my wife and I wanted. It had everything we needed. It is definitely away from the hustle and bustle of town but still just a 20-25 fun golf ride in. Joan(host) was always there with a quick response when needed. Morning coffee under the palapa at the end of the pier was a daily routine and beautiful. We watched the fishermen go by as well as saw different fish around the pier as well as a pretty spotted little ray. The bird life was also abundant. Per Joan’s suggestion we had Marfa the chef come and cook 3 different nights. They were delicious restaurant style meals at a very reasonable price. And…..she does the dishes. Highly recommend her services. We fine dined at Palmillas and Frenchy’s. Palmillas was fabulous on the veranda but Frenchy’s was Ok and not really worth the to us. Stax was our first and last meal-quick and easy and just “down the street”. Toast was a fun dinner on Tuesday as we played some BINGO. The Hula Bar was also a cool place over the water and nearby. We went to Palapas in town twice and had some tasty lunches as well as snorkeled under the pier there. One day was dedicated to town shopping and was a fun time as well. We only did one excursion and that was snorkeling the Blue Hole with Belize Pro Dive Shop. Again another fine business suggested by Joan. You can’t miss Thursday night at Corona Del Mar……Chicken Poop. Google it and enjoy. It was a blast. Again, this home was perfect.

Perfect Palapa
The property had everything we could have wanted including a private pool, dock with palapa and kayaks. We appreciated being away from the hectic pace of San Pedro and enjoyed the birds in the area. Loved Seaside Casa!
We loved the peace and quiet! Enjoyed having our morning coffee on the private pier. Our hosts Joan,Michael Katie and Alex were terrific! Joan and Katie were great at communicating. They met us at the airport and helped us arrange our golf cart rental. They also had great recommendations for restaurants, fishing, snorkeling, and massages! Alex took us on a private fishing trip that we really enjoyed. Highly recommend if you want to be away from the action of San Pedro town but close enough if you want to go there. Can’t say enough about how nice the hosts are! They totally gave us complete privacy. We didn’t even know they were there. Great vacation!

Best Property to Book
This was our first time in Belize celebrating our 20th anniversary. We believe we made the best decision in booking our stay at Seaside Casa. It was very clean, quiet and spacious! Away from all the noise/traffic in town. We had a private pool and dock. My husband was able to fish off the dock and caught a barracuda! Our Host Joan was the best! If we needed anything, she was there to provide. We loved her so much, we've adopted her as our friend, as well as her husband Mike and daughter Katie. We miss you!

Private secluded vrbo with your own pool!!
Beautiful, private home with very lovely owners! Everything we could need was there, including our own pool; no need to share as at resort stays! We were as far south from san pedro as we could be which was just fine with us. We were able to see rays, and fish right off our dock. I was sad to go and hope to return again. Can't say enough about joan and katie, they helped alot with our planning..and even came to pick us up when i screwed up the arrival. Consider this everyone, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful Ocean Front Secluded Property

Honeymoon in Belize
Had an amazing time in Belize thanks to Joane and crew. Location is exactly as advertised and is perfect for secluded peaceful trips. Joane met us off the ferry and was very friendly and helpful in guiding us through the initial orientation. Personally I loved this area and had amazing fishing days off the dock and by boat. I will caution those who are looking for more nightlife and city vibes, the drive too and from town is 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions. This may not suite some people, however if you prefer the off grid adventure, this is your place.

Secluded Private Getaway
If your looking for a cozy getaway that is secluded with lots of privacy, this is it. The pictures are a true representation of how lovely this rental is. Private dock, private pool, outdoor kitchen area with BBQ allows you to avoid the crowds and enjoy your time together. Apart from the occasional trip to town for groceries and supplies you never have to leave unless you want to explore the island in your golf cart. It's only a few miles to restaurants and resorts, shops and nightlife. And yes, the golf carts have headlights for night driving. Joan and her family are wonderful sources of information for shopping, sightseeing and tours, boating and fishing.

Property was amazing. Exactly what we needed. San Pedro has grown so much over the years and it’s so busy. It was nice to be out of town. Our hosts were so helpful and kind. The private pool was amazing and my husband could fly fish for bonefish right off the dock. Well stocked kitchen Fresh pineapple She picked up some groceries for us They supplied plenty of ice and lots of bottled water. Best to buy groceries and cook for yourself because it’s a half hour golf cart ride to multiple restaurants. It was nice to be far from busy San Pedro. Well stocked kitchen. They also booked us a golf cart at a good price. We highly recommend this property and would stay there again. Thank you Seaside Casa!

Amazing property and wonderful hosts
This property had everything we needed and wanted. It was secluded from the crowd of tourists that inhabit other properties on the island. It was quiet and had a beautiful ocean view. Perfect Oasis
Seaside Casa is quiet, clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The patio along the pool provides just enough shade and sun as desired. The pool is refreshing, and they have floats available. The covered pier provides a peaceful place to watch the boats and even dolphins a couple times. The kayak is nice to explore farther south. It is a 30-45 minute golf cart ride to the action in San Pedro. Road conditions vary from full-speed to very bumpy. We were fine with that. There are places along the way for food, drink and occasional music. Our hosts suggested places, events & advice during our stay. We ventured even farther north to Secret Beach a couple times. The drive is just part of the adventure! We did limit most trips to daytime. We did get to know hosts Joan, Michael and Katie, plus friend Alex. Everyone is super nice and ensured we had a good time. Upon reservation, Joan contacted us immediately and set us up with a reasonably priced golf cart. She met us as the airport in San Pedro, got us to our golf cart, and we followed her to Seaside Casa with a stop for a few essentials (beer). We did not rent the boat, but it was nice to know it was an option. Joan made sure we had the basics (coffee & snacks). She also offered and delivered other items (more beer) that we reimbursed her. Katie met us at airport upon departure and returned our golf cart. Thanks! My only negative is the no-see-um bugs loved me (didn't touch my husband). Recommend bug repellant all the time.

Joan was super helpful with all aspects of getting there and checking in….even researching fishing excursions and cart rentals! Amazing place if you’re looking for a bit of peace and quite on the island. It’s far south from town…but that’s exactly what we were looking for! Very private!! Being on south tip it allowed us to sunset cruise in the kayaks when it was windy! Mid and north island this wouldn’t be possible!! Super clean and quite a large space! The pool was a great bonus! Really enjoyed our time! 100% we’ll be back on our next trip to San Pedro!! Thanks so much Joan!!!

A true retreat from noisy city-life
The home is beautiful and the view can't be beat. If you are looking for a true get-away, this your place. Husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here. The drive, about 40 minutes to town, was a little intimidating at first, but was enjoyable with the nice breeze and view along the way. It was a little bumpy though. The Maxson's are super friendly and gave great recommendations on where eat and play. The fishing/snorkeling excursion which picked up at their dock was absolutely amazing. All in all, we got home rested and reenergized after a wonderful trip.

Island Paradise
This property is just as beautiful and well kept as the pictures show and Joan, Michael and Katie are truly "super hosts." They have excellent recommendations and taking the boat out to the reef and around is a must. We LOVED the food on Ambergris Caye. All of Joan's recommendations were excellent in addition to the places we stumbled upon. We highly recommend this place and would stay again. It is important to note that it is about 25 minutes south of town by golf cart. If you are a person that likes to be unplugged with stunning ocean views, this is the perfect place for you! P.S. The property is extremely well built and clean too. And everything works! It is stocked with lots of kitchen stuff as well and internet works great if you need to get a bit of work in. :)

Amazing Property!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a fantastic stay! The apartment is below Joan and her family and they are all great! The customer service and hospitality was the best that I had ever received from a VRBO/AirBNB property owner. Joan went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The property was a waterfront property with the option to use the boat for a fee. We took advantage of the boat and the price was reasonable and probably cheaper than any group tours would cost. Joan picked up a groceries for us free of charge, we just paid the total for the groceries. As Joan indicates on her page, the road was bumpy and the ride on a golf cart can take 30 to 40 minutes. At first, we thought it was a long commute into town, but by the end of our trip we really enjoyed the ride into town. When we went to Caye Caulker, we missed our commute by golf cart into town. Joan also helped us in gettng a golf cart rented. There is currently construction going on next to the property, but it didn't really bother us. Great stay and we would stay here again! Thanks Joan for everything!

Beautiful Peaceful and Refreshing
It was a wonderful place to stay. Nice and quiet and private. Joan was wonderful and very helpful. She helped with our transportation and getting our snorkeling lined up. She went above and beyond.
