It would have been a nice stay if we weren’t hit with hurricane Sara. Resort does not have television to be kept entertained. Shopping was limited weather was not cooperative.

Helpful staff, and a beautiful resort providing considerable shade to help keep you cool on those hot island days. Pool is great and pretty large. Ate lunch there once and it was all right. Appreciated the work to clear the seaweed from the beach, and we enjoyed the lounge chairs and hammocks they had out there. I can't speak to the boating/snorkeling opportunities, but there were many options and those who took them seemed thrilled.

Ramon's Village Resort is literally heaven on earth. We had a delay in our flight that led us to missing our ferry to the island and we missed a night we had paid for. They were extremely accommodating in helping us stay another night at the end of our trip as opposed to missing a night entirely. The staff is unbelievable. They are friendly, accommodating, and so welcoming. Nate from the bar is AWESOME. Yuri at the Front Desk is so sweet and welcoming, alongside Jose who helped us stay longer because we loved this place SO much!! It has everything you need if you want to lay around and relax vacation or go out and adventure each day, everything is at your fingertips. We rented snorkel gear for $10 US Dollars a day and saw so much sea life without having to go out on an excursion. (We like lazy Vacations) The pool is heated and has a hot tub area which we enjoyed after swimming in the salt water. There are hammocks to lounge and beach chairs that you don't have to rent, just walk outside and enjoy. Truly, this place is AMAZING! We stayed for three extra days because we couldn't stand the thought of leaving! Spa is also very nice! Had a mani pedi with a lovely lady who had worked there for twelve years, and she told me wonderful stories about the owner and how she loved working there. She was amazing! 10 out of 10! Stay here, it is the best.

The place was great. Every bit true to the pictures. Dispite a few renovations during the week. Wonderful tiki atmosphere thats authentic, unlike the modern Marriott down the street. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the food at pineapples was worth every bite. The internet in the rooms were a problem so i would suggest bringing your own Hotspot. And the golf cart service was a bit more expensive compared to other mom and pop places outside the resort. But they are nice and convenient. While we were staying the resort changed there cash system so everything was in usd. Overall beautiful place. Would definitely recommend.

Big on noise, little on relaxation
We've been to San Pedro several times and were looking forward to staying at Ramon's this time. However, between the construction work on a deck, and the bilge pump operating on the shore, there was very little relaxation to be had - it could be heard from our room and the pool. In fact, we skipped massages knowing that the noise would prevent a peaceful experience. Too bad. they had such greats potential. Room itself was comfortable enough, standing water in the shower could use some work. And maybe offer more than just beer and wine at the bar and restaurant.

We loved our stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and extremely accommodating to our very large group's every need. They truly went above and beyond. Pineapples was an amazing restaurant with some of the best food on the island. Our bed was so comfortable that I missed it when we left! The room was so cozy and was perfect. The 24 hr pool was a huge plus as well! Beach access was not great-they were pumping sand with very, very loud equipment to the other side of the resort so you couldn't swim-but the view was wonderful! They did have some great docs to go and look out on! TIP: Go to the dock at night and look over! SOOOO many fish at night! HUGE! Even some nurse sharks. That was one of our favorite things to do there!
