This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at el Presidente Hotel. This time, I noticed its wear and tear and its older appearance. The room I stayed (217) did not have a view as it was covered by a tree and the roof of the kitchen(?). At 5 am you would start to hear the employees carrying noisy carts right outside the window either to set up for the morning or to take out the garbage- not sure. The ac was super noisy, every time it came back on which was every 5-10 min it woke me up each time. There is no breakfast included, although there was someone serving coffee in the lobby. Why not also offer a pastry / granola bar or fruit as well. Some of us don’t need a big breakfast and if we do, we can go and order it in the restaurant. Luckily it is is centrally located, safe, and has many food options close by. The hotel needs a facelift - it’s feeling old and dated.

Una de las mejores experiencias, personal amable desde tu llegada al area del Valet Parking, te reciben con amabilidad el check in fue excelente me entregaron mi habitacion con 30min antes del check in. 1 bebida de bienvenida, puede ser una cerveza nacional ho una soda, la habitacion muy bonita y una cama muy comoda y limpia. El desayuno es Buffete cuesta $20 dolares muy completo y con buen sabor ho puedes ordenar a la carta, los meseros son muy amables y estan atentos a lo que necesites. El area de la picina es muy tranquilo y sobre todo la picina es cristalina y muy limpia y una temperatura agradable, de las mejores picinas que he encontrado sin duda. Estube hospedado con mi familia el dia del Super Bowl y el area del bar ofrecio un mini buffete con alitas, costillas de cerdo en BBQ, ceviche de pescado unos mini sandwiches cubanos, papas fritas ensalda 2 sodas y postres ilimitados por $15 y el personal super amable, una gran experiencia sin duda la amabilidad de mi gente salvadoreña sale a relucir. Volveremos sin duda... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always a good time!

I stay here every time I come to El Salvador and I love this place! Close to many restaurants and malls at a walking distance. The only negative thing I can say is that the hotel needs major repairs and upgrades. The staff is very very friendly and helpful! Breakfast amazing buffet and overall dinning very tasteful! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone !!

Lovely older hotel with great staff. Rooms are a good size and have all the amenities you want and need. Breakfast was great and kids loved the peacocks by the pool. The area is very nice with easy shopping and dining walkable distances.

I was totally disappointed with the hotel, the photos do not match what the hotel looks like. Its deteriorated and old. It's over priced. I rented and apartament that was 10 times better that.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I booked 2 balcony rooms there. During the time of my vacation stay they had construction going on. I was awakened early in the morning to VERY LOUD NOISE which ruined my vacation. I did not get to rest well with the LOUD NOISE waking me up. I talked to the front desk lady about it. She did not offer to change my room or the other toom I booked for my friends. When I asked for a refund they refused. I will never stay here again. This is not how you treat guest that came all the way from another country.
