The stay was amazing. Greeted immediately by staff. They advised me that the elevator wasn't working, but luckily I didn't mind the stairs since my room was by the stairs on the second floor. Also on the second floor is their Wellness Center, it includes a steam room, showers, hot tub, and massage rooms. You need an appointment for the massages, but the rest of the amenities are first come first serve. They were amazing, the steam room felt wonderful and the hot tub is great with a view of the night sky. My room was clean, very spacious, comfortable bed, the fireplace gives a beautiful ambiance and heats the room up. The bathroom was clean and roomy, shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash if you forgot yours. The tub was huge, you can fit 2 average sized people in it. In the lobby you have beer and wine on tap, you do need a separate key card and are charged per pour. I didn't get one, but it looks cool. Now the breakfast in the morning is coffee, oatmeal, pastries. Nearby, there is a boardwalk that leads you to the beach, which the walk alone is scenic. Overall, my stay was relaxing. A good mental and physical recharge.

The power went out about an hour after we checked in. No light or power to finish getting ready for a night out. Can’t go out with wet hair in November. Could not use the spa or anything else without pier & could not order food for dinner or go out to dinner. Room was a complete fail! Places like this should have backup generator’s for their customers or give a partial refund or free night stay.

Loved our stay.Beautiful place,beautiful room.Everything was perfect,clean,and very nice.Staff was just so friendly and helpful.Parking is available below in a parking garage and above ground as well.There is a wooden walkway you can take to the beach.It’s a breathtakingly beautiful walkway that goes all the way into Cambria which we did to have dinner.Perfect stay for our visit to Hearst Castle.We’ll be back!

This is the most precious gem of a property! We needed a dog friendly hotel and this precious hotel is perfect! The bathrooms are AMAZING with deep jacuzzi tubs! There is a sweet wooden boardwalk from the hotel to the beach we enjoyed. You can walk to town for coffee or breaffast! We are definitely coming back!

The hotel seems to be a little tired. Window was broken and the a/c didn’t work. They have us a fan but didn’t seem to care much. The continental breakfast was awful but I don’t judge a place on breakfast. The elevator was broken as well. It was good for a one night stay but we won’t sty again.

Check in went well. Hotel advertised breakfast but it doesn’t qualify. They had a coffee and a couple of prepackaged gross pastries. The room was nice but ceiling fan was very dirty. Room was also a dead zoom no cell service. Overall stay was ok but a little over priced for what it offered.

Below any standards!
Awful! No breakfast for the whole stay; the hotel claimed that the food delivery didn’t make it and it is once a week Hot tub not functioning although they called for service again Water pressure almost nil to zero pretty bad Mold all over see attached pictures Toilet very dirty and after several requests they never cleaned it see pictures No working elevator which is problematic for people with neurodiverse capabilities Quite a pity, this hotel could be very nice if the owner were to be more involved
