Sanary kept the character of a small fishing port. Located in the heart of Provence, between Marseille and Toulon, it is an ideal location to enjoy the holidays at the seaside with family or couple. Sanary offers five beaches where the city ensures safety and hygiene and comfort. bathing waters covered by the classification 'A'.
Along the coast, the visitor can enjoy the unspoilt nature of Sanaryen coastline. About 8 Km long, it has a succession of unspoilt nature: Dark red rocks sculpted by the wind and cut off rock cliffs alternate with coves and pebble beaches, topped with pine trees.
Vacationers appreciate the charm of Provence markets Sanary, welcoming pedestrian streets, shaded squares and nightlife in high season (fireworks, concerts, exhibitions, games ..). In summer there is a wide range of activities in Sanary for large and small (first diving, sailing, whale watching and dolphins, tennis, hiking on the coast, walks in the hinterland of fields of olive, parasailing, wildlife park, bowling, boat trips and cycling, boat rentals, visits the creeks of Cassis and the islands of Porquerolles and Embiez). When car trips you cross the beautiful landscape with vineyards and olive groves. Sanary is very pleasant back season for those who have young children of school age and for pensioners who have the chance to enjoy a holiday in spring or autumn when there is least. The climate is mild and the sun shines with a less intense heat in summer. Families return to school holidays and even to enjoy the end of year holidays in Provence when the city is full of light with its Christmas tree on the town hall square. Provençal crèche in the church is one of the favorite attractions for children.
Welcome baby !! No need to carry everything for breakfast. You will find there a cot, bath, high chair and a walker. Sanary is an ideal place to enjoy her maternity leave with her newborn before resuming work. You can do everything on foot. No problems for walks if you wear your baby in stroller or walk the streets are flat. the sea can be easily along the harbor side. New parents and little can make good naps in the quiet garden.
