In the area for work and stayed here. Place is quiet, good parking, staff is very friendly and helpful, they have bikes at our disposal. Everything is in walking distance. More than likely going to stay here again.

We loved our large room w/ kitchen Loved the daily wine & munchies & breakfast w/ egg bites, breads…& the beautiful garden well cared for, hot tub & pool! Staff excellent! Will come back! Please add mirror in room so we can get dressed, do makeup by it when other is in bathroom. Thanks!

This is a very cute place. My wife really likes the inner courtyard…quaint and cozy. The rooms are a bit dated but still cute. Feels more like a B&B than a hotel. The sparkling wine was a nice touch for our VIP package! This is our second time staying here, both for UCSB parent’s weekend. While about 10min from campus, it was only a couple minutes to State street and all that it offers. You can walk to the main beach/pier easily. I wish the pool/hot tub hours ran later though! Closing at 9pm is too early!

Older property but very clean and quiet. We had a kitchenette that was well stocked. Had a nice happy hour with wine and cheese. Great location, very walkable to restaurants and the beach. Will definitely stay there again.

A great one night stay.
A comfortable one night stay. Really friendly, helpful staff. A 15 minute walk to State Street. Further away from the beach than we had expected. A comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Good bathroom amenities. Complimentary cheese and wine at 4.30pm was a nice bonus as was the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room.

A nice motel.
I was disappointed to realize this was more of a motel than a hotel. It was certainly not reflected in the price. But the place was clean. Customer service was excellent. The wine and cheese set up in the afternoon was a wonderful bonus. The coffee was good and the breakfast was okay. Location was excellent, just a quick three block walk to the beach, and a half mile from the funk zone.

Great little inn. Quiet and cozy. Our room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. Sufficient but limited parking. Love the little courtyard area. Reminded me of apartment living but without all the extra noise and traffic.

Excellent hotel in great location
Arrived and were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told us we had a free room upgrade. It was a lovely spacious room with separate kitchen and large bathroom. We only stopped for one night so the Free bike hire was great as it enabled us to see much more than we would have. Free breakfast was simple but very fresh and free wine and cheese at 6 was an added bonus. The staff were really helpful and are a credit to the hotel, which is conveniently located with short walk to beach and local shops.
