Close to Flying Flags RV

Great location to be with anyone RVing at Flying Flags, close to Solvang. We chose this spot only on the location to be near our family that were in the RV park. The properties are attached. We drove to Jalama Beach twice. Staff got us in early, which was appreciated. The room key stopped working twice which was a hassle, luckily the desk is open 24/7. The daily breakfast delivery wasn’t great, but there were many restaurants nearby. They don’t daily clean so you’ll need to ask for extra towels and coffee.

If you are going to solvang but wants some privacy and be able to walk at night with a nice bonfire this is the place, solvang is just 7 minutes driving so you can multiply your beneficits

Nicely remodeled motel, lobby and room were beautiful. Wall unit HVAC was jet-engine loud whenever running, and was needed due to chilly temps. Same with fan in bathroom. Why make it look so nice and leave the 1960's equipment? Would have appreciated refreshing of the towels and emptying our trash during a 3 day visit without needing to pre-schedule it during certain hours. Sideways Lounge was fantastic, great service and drinks.

Do not get fooled by the name, "Sidways Inn." Kind of a weird name. This inn was excellent! The staff was excellent and several snacks in the lobby upon our arrival. My wife and I enjoyed this place very much.
