The Lafonda is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Santa Fe. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The plaza is right across the street where you can enjoy live music, an Indigenous peoples market and restaurants. It was the perfect location.

Clean. Quick response from concierge. Convenient location! Friendly staff. Shower products are sulfate paraben free/clean products! A bit loud as our rooms were near some of the convention center rooms. Fitness center is small.

I expected much more from a 5 star hotel. The staff was short, the room was dusty, the room @600$ for the night was tiny, it was noisy at dinner, and there was no room at the bar. Food...well sub par for Dennys. Drinks, watered down schlop. Worst toilet paper on the planet, like painters trowell a just pasting it arround. Wont be going back.

Spent a weekend at La Fonda en route to Denver. Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff and management were welcoming and so helpful to new visitors to Santa Fe. The location is within walking distance to almost everything you would want or need here - Restaurants, boutique shoppes and galleries all around. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable (they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite), and the restaurant was always busy (we only had breakfast here, but delish!).
