AVANTI MOTEL — SANTA MARIA CA
Santa Maria CA — This centrally located, downtown motel, is under refurbishment. The new rooms are spacious, bright and modern, with an element of fun, “kitschy” design. Very nice! Staff are welcoming and very helpful.

The remodeling and nice and clean room didnt like that they need you to have a bank account and if not you need 150$ cash deposit also that they dont allow you to use a family members bank card

Great room, the AC unit kept giving us some errors but it was a comfortable stay, they cleaned our room twice over our 4 night stay. Which was super nice, close to a corner store and yummy food. Would stay here again. There were stone stains in the shower and some on the walls but other than that the room was clean and it smelt amazing ☺️

Our vacation experience
It started off not very well with not getting the bed size we reserved and issues with the front desk. After three days of being in the same room with bad WiFi service and no cable to watch with my family the manager came and let us know that he was aware of us not being satisfied in the hotel and offered us a way out with a full refund. I let him know that wouldn’t fix our issues since we did come to have a nice family vacation… He then offered to put us in a sweat for our last night and refund us for the night that we were absolutely unhappy. After putting us in a sweat we were much more comfortable just unfortunate it was our last night. Staff cleaning the room was very nice a young lady supper sweet and helpful. Hoping things change for the better with this hotel and the owners also learn from this experience as we have.

When you first arrive you're met with an exterior similar to most road side motels. Once inside though, its amazing! Huge comfortable bed, 1.5 bathrooms, 2 tvs, a living room... great value overall. Small downfalls, showerhead is in an awkward spot causing a good amount of water to leak out. Walls are thin, you hear all your neighbors, luckily, they went to sleep early! Thats it! Perfect spot to sleep for my Spartan race!

Pleasantly surprised my stay at the Avanti
I was pleasantly surprised with the room. I didn’t feel as if I was staying at a hotel. I felt like I was at one of my friends, in their guest room and the pillows work amazingly soft by the way!

The remodel was still in-progress when I stayed. My room was one where the remodel was complete. The room was clean, the finishes were nice and the fixtures were up-to-date.

It was an okay stay for the price. I had a renovated room while other rooms were being remodeled. Luckily I wake early because I literally had a worker with a loud table saw RIGHT IN FRONT of my door at 7AM. The rooms look bigger on the pictures. It has a definite mom and pop feeling as you can tell the owners live on site. I could smell their cooking. For the price I would probably stay there again.
