Our expectations were low since we paid a resonable price, and we had no big problem during our stay. Actually the owner was very nice with us and offered the breakfast. There was no hairdryer in the room and we were asked to wait for the next morning until we get one. One struggle was that water was salted in the room but we were warned by the taxi driver at the airport. Breakfast is very simple but again we did not pay so cannot complain for that. There was only two cleaning ladies who did not speak english and one had to work at the reception to give keys at arrival. One of them could not understand 'hairdryer' so we had to ask the owner, who only stayed during the night. We were 'upgraded' from an economy room in ground floor to a room in the 1st floor, but the owner insisted much that we would have to leave if other customers show up which did not happen. The room was oriented toward the sea but a concrete ruin was blocking the view. The hotel location was ok for us, 10 min from the seafront and 5 min from the bus stop. It is located on a steep slope that requires good legs, and has convenient access to the ancient Thira as the pathway to the mountain starts exactly at the hotel.

Comfortable and convenient
Fantastic location a little bit uphill from the beach but at a very much walkable distance. Check out the figs growing in the trees near the hotel on the side of the street, they are delicious. Nice owner, very straightforward, has a good sense of humor (guests shouldn't take anything too personal like what I have read), a good host and very honest about everything. For those of you thinking of climbing over the mountain to go to Perrissa or ancient Thera, Have you ever climbed Mount Washington ? It is a comparable exercise. Looks like nothing on Google maps... Also, very nice area, super safe. The restaurants and nightlife are just a few meters away down the hill. A/C and hot water not always working (check this out first thing when entering the room). Beautiful and quiet pool and poolside area. Will print boarding passes via HP Air print and will organise a transfer to the airport. Very convenient. The hotel is very quiet at night. You can easily sleep with the windows open and enjoy the ocean breeze and the beautiful view on Kamari in the morning.

It was so pretty! It was lovely and quiet and layed out very well. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was large with good air con and the breakfast was decent. The only little thing was the shower wasnt strong pressure. But it was enough to wash my long hair. Everywhere was very clean and well kept.really enjoyed it here and was close enough to the beach and strip without being in all the business.

OK for budget travellers
Good location, only short walk to the lively central area of Kamari. Hotel was ok but the service not so great. The hotel description was promising TV and air conditioning, but there was no TV in the room and air con was not working, it had no remote provided. On the first day we informed the owner of the air con because the nights were really hot. He promised to fix it on the same day and leave the remote control in the room. Of course it never happened... The mattress was hard but the pillow was five times harder. I could not sleep on it, I literally had to put some clothes or towels under my head at nights to be able to get some comfortable sleep. Breakfast was fine but at day 3 we got bored to have exactly the same thing every morning with no change at all. Problematic showering - hot water was rarely available, especially before breakfast and later at night when everyone is trying to shower. If we ever went back to Santorini we probably would add a bit more money and choose a different hotel, however as a budget option this was ok. Be aware, the tourism fee is 50 cents per accommodation per night. We got charged double as we were not aware of the limit at the time of paying. No receipt was offered too.

superb holiday
Owner, son and Melissa were very accommodating. Owner and son had excellent English language, couldn’t do enough for us to have perfect stay. We were given a room for the extra day due to our flight not being until 1am following morning. Breakfast was great and served on the terrace with views of mountain behind and sea to the front. Very scenic property embedded into the mountain. However the steep hill in the heat was gruelling at times. Certainly not for the faint hearted which is a shame for those as they are losing out on the scenic views from pool and rooms. Very clean and traditional.

Super hotel
Stayed for a week and had a fabulous stay. The hotel is up a hill but the views of the ocean and the peaceful location make it a super place to stay. The rooms are clean. The poolside area was great and the garden areas were very well kept. Breakfast was included and was always nice. The service from Bobby and hotel staff was excellent. Its a short walk to Kamira restaurants, bars and beach and the bus stop is just down the hill to go to Fira.

Quite basic hotel, nice swimming pool, nice view
Clean and nice room, however the beds are not very comfortable, our backs hurt. Nice swimming pool, good breakfast, good location, nice view on the beach and own of Kamari. Quite place. The reception was very unfriendly and disappointing, and no information at all. No safe parking for the car, there is a parking 200m further down the hill. Would not recommend this hotel. There must be better for a similar price.

My family and I only stayed here for one night and it was as good as expected for $50 a night in Santorini. It was pretty central to the beach and downtown Kamari (about 5-10 minutes but quite a steep hill up) and only 15 minutes to the airport which was really convenient for us. The room is no frills, really simple but had a bit of a bleach smell in the bathroom. The pool and bar area looked great though we didn't get a chance to use it ourselves. Had a bit of trouble getting in contact with the hotel prior to arrival to get directions since they don't have addresses on the island, but it turned out ok and everyone was super helpful once we arrived. A great hotel for a place just to crash

Condescending owner. Upon check out, said are you planning to leave without settling up? Even though everything was paid via my booking. I gladly showed him my booking stating that it had been paid. His response, I messed up the customer, people that are "oriental" usually don't have your name, they're usually called Hong or something like that. On top of that sheets were dirty. Stay away

Nice Hotel
The hotel is around 15-20 minutes from the airport and cost around 10 euros to get there from the airport shuttle service. The hotel is beautiful and look exactly like the pictures and is well kept. It has an old school feel too it which was appropriate for the surroundings. The rooms were on the smaller side, but there is really no need to spend a lot of time in the room. The shower head had to be held and did not have anything to hold it up, which got annoying. Also, you had to plan a shower time right or else you would be bathing with warm/cold water. When we arrived, there was no hand soap, which wasn't a huge deal so we just picked up some at the market in town (5-10 minute walk down a big hill). I brought my own bath towel and beach/pool towel, which i was very grateful for because the towels were a bit rough and on the smaller side. The breakfast was the same everyday but it was still enjoyable. It was either ham and cheese or turkey and cheese with yogurt that had peaches and drizzled with honey. Not a typical breakfast or variety but can't complain either. The pool water was cold but it is a beautiful area to relax in. The wifi was okay and worked all over the hotel. The hotel is family owned and the staff are wonderful. They get to know each and everyone of the guests and make them feel welcome and like they are at home. I also found out after the fact that it is cheaper to book excursions through the hotel. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here!!

Good people, that treat their guests well.
I'm just going to list the extras first. Free wi-fi, Free use of beach towels, Free air conditioning, free Greek yogurt as well as standard breakfast, I even got a free beer of 2 (but I would count on that one). It's a father and son team stop for a chat and you will get some good advice. They will arrange an excursion for you if you like. It's well worth doing the full day trip, but take good shoes a hat and lots of water, it's a good work out if you want to see everything.more of a Triarhlon with donkeys instead of bikes. (We don't do donkeys so much harder for us). You may well have to pool to yourself at times, especially in the morning. The hotel was not full when we were there in late June and we had it to ourselves all the time. From the hotel walk for 5mins up the hill in the evening and you will have scilence and the heavens above you. No cars allowed up there at night. As far as I know many if not all the rooms have sea view, I recomend the upper floor. slightly cooler in the evening at this hotel which is one of the highest overlooking the town. It's a few minutes walk up hill to get back from the beach but it's not to difficult and worth it for the view.

Delightful hillside views from comfortable room
Room was comfortable , beautiful view from our room only problem was that the shower had to be held as the holder was broken and there was no hot water to have a shower (not even warm water), when the other rooms used the shower , it turned into little more than a trickle of water. Disappointing because we were so happy with the room otherwise. The breakfast was also just right.

Breakfast is fixed. Ham and cheese sandwich, coffee or tea, and yogurt with fruits every day.Not bad, not buffet (quantity). Room was good, better view in higher rooms. Location is good for terrace view, but at the end of town and ALWAYS need to take a bus to Fira to go anywhere else in the island by transit. Shower head was loose, owner kinda grumpy in the morning if you disturb him.

My wonderful stay at Villa Anneta
I enjoyed all of Santorini. The hotel is family owned and run so, the staff is friendly and authentic. Anything you need to know about they can point in the right direction. There is something for everyone to do in Kamari, but hopefully you're staying long enough to check out what the rest of the island has to offer! I would stay at this hotel again.

A few things you need to know about the hotel: 1 - the address is not on google maps, it's located just at the bottom of the switchbacks when you look up the city on the south eastern end. 2 - the hotel's website isn't up and the phone number listed on here is incorrect - i never got the right one. 3 - the nearest bust station is a short walk down the street, its costs 1.6 Euro to get to Fira then annother 1.6 to transfer to Ia, they come by every 45 min. 4 - the hotel itself is very pretty, our air conditioner didn't work so they replaced it. 5 - the room had a 'kitchen' which was 2 electric burners, a sink, 2 pots, and a small set of dirty plates, cups and silverware. There was no soap or sponge to wash anything - so that was gross 6 - the service is great, free breakfast is fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, tea or coffee, hot ham and cheese, toast, and yogurt with honey
