The restaurant is great. The restaurant staff are excellent. The location is perfect. The front desk staff in the morning were good. The AC in the room was noisy and there was a water leak in the room above mine that was making a noise, and I told the front desk guy and it must have been fixed because the noise stopped. The WiFi works quite well. However, this is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel and we asked not to be disturbed in the room. My husband works remotely all day and sometimes works until midnight. Since the pandemic, we have avoided having the cleaners come to clean the room every day. We explained all this to the front desk, and even so, in the evening, 3 people from the hotel showed up without having called my room beforehand, to see if everything was okay. I understand that they are supposed to check on guests - however, my husband and I were seen every morning at breakfast, and I left and returned to the hotel daily - so it was obvious that we were fine. When they came to my room at night (around 9pm), my husband was in an online meeting, and I had just taken a shower, and I had to open the door in my pajamas. I don't know what it takes to have the "do not disturb" request respected.

Overall was a good hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. The room was decent and clean. The restroom is little old but clean. They have nice sona and great elevator. I would stay here again !

The hotel is beautiful outside with a nice lobby and a panoramic elevator. It’s located near a mall and Moema subway station. The neighborhood is one of the best in São Paulo. But the rooms are outdated and do not meet the standards for an upscale hotel. The bathroom sink was cracked and the shower had mold all over it. The huge room had some old furniture and a tiny TV.

I specifically requested and early check in when booking. Nobody answered me and to my surprise, no room was available. I arrived early in the morning after an overnight flight and needed to shower before my meetings. I had to book a room at a City hotel near-by to take a shower and change to be ready for my meetings. Even though they may say that early check in is subject to availability, you may have written back that the hotel is full the night before and it’s unlikely to offer early check in. Communication is key in the hospitality industry. Melia is not doing good at taking care of their guests. Price is not the only factor that drives the hospitality industry, my dear hoteliers.

The hotel is great! The location is great. The breakfast is fantastic! The only problem is that since the pandemic, I prefer not to have cleaning staff come into my room. I never had any problems with this, however, one night, a cleaning man along with a front desk receptionist knocked really loudly on my room door at 10pm to see if everything was “ok. The girl at the front desk had already seen me arrive at the hotel, so I don't know why she needed to come to my room and knock on the door so loudly. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain, and was told that this is not standard procedure - that they should have called my room first and not just knock on my door at 10pm.

Not a 4 star hotel.
Great location, but definetly not a 4 star. The rooms are noisy (not from external sources, but between walls). Super easy to wake up when anyone walks the halls. Shower is 3ft×3ft, and while it has good presure, it is super tiny (I'm 6"2 and struggled with it). Good bed and bedding. Internet subpar (slow and glichy). Breakfast was ok, some low quality products.
