The convenience of KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Ekimae doesn't stop at its location. The hotel offers a seamless underground walkway from Sapporo JR Station, complete with a lift for those with bulky luggage, making snowy treks a thing of the past. Nestled in the tranquil side of Sapporo, it's a haven for peace-seekers. Should you crave a livelier scene, a mere 10-minute stroll leads you to the vibrant hub where Donki thrives. On-site, a delightful restaurant serves up tasty treats on the ground floor, adding to the hotel's charm. For any last-minute needs, a convenient store sits just across the street. Inside, the rooms boast all the essentials, at a price that's hard to beat. Eager to explore further, I'm eyeing the other KOKO on the bustling side for my next stay, confident in the excellent service they promise.

This hotel was about 20 second walk from one of the largest underground walkways I have ever seen. It attached to the major JR station and multiple smaller subway lines as well as a variety of large scale malls, food options and smaller shopping areas.

Convenient location

Just stayed for one night and very happy with the location close to the station and easily connected by underground passages (ideal in snow. Room was a good size by Japanese standards. Could do with freshening up - some stains and scuffs on wall - but would stay again.

The staff was nice and hotel would have been perfect. Very disappointed in the lack of pillows and air conditioning. The beds only had one pillow and it was so small. When I asked for extra pillows I was told they didn’t have any said they could give me towels. The AC did not work and the room was extremely hot.

Ver clean and nice also at the center of Sapporo

The room was very clean and I could see that they paid attention to many small details in amenities. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, and I wish I could stay at the same type of hotels during rest of my Japan trip at different cities.

I don’t recommend this hotel. The air conditioner only gives warm air. I talked to the hotel staff. He said the centralized air conditioning system was not controllable. My only option was to open the window if the room is too warm.
