Nestled on the foothills of the world-renown and heritage listed Lamington National Park, QLD, is “The Eagles Nest”, a 50-acre luxurious hinterland guest house, situated on a ridgeline, with 360 degrees of the Scenic Rim.

Our names are Kelly & Jules, we own and lived at “The Eagles Nest” for close 3.5 years, with our 3 beautiful boys, and our beloved fur babies.

In July 2023, we decided to part ways, and now live in another spectacular location in the Scenic Rim, QLD - We are still lucky enough to call “The Eagles Nest” our home away from home.

We spent our time there marvelling over the vistas, the breathtaking sunrises & sunsets, and gazing at the crystal-clear, country night skies. Some mornings we would wake in a blanket of fog, and slowly watch it ascent from the valley below, whilst other days you’d be delighted with the Eagles soaring at eye level, without a noise or neighbour in sight. The memories we made as a family at “The Eagles Nest” are truly unforgettable, and something we are SO excited to share.

During our time, we renovated, built the infinity pool & turned the house into something justly special, with so much to offer.

Whether you’re immersing yourself in the breathtaking western sunset by the infinity pool, relaxing by the bespoke gas fireplace, hiking the rolling hills of the property, spending quality time around the campfire or spending your days exploring the Scenic Rim, this will be a stay you’ll never forget.

ABOUT

Sleeping 10, “The Eagles Nest” is the perfect retreat for families, couples or groups seeking solitude and tranquillity, only 80 minutes from Brisbane CBD, 45 minutes from the Gold Coast and 12 minutes from Canungra, QLD.

This stunning, 50-acre property in the heart of popular tourist attraction of the Scenic Rim, QLD, bordered to the west of the Sarabah Range, east of the Darlington Range and divided by the breathtaking Sarabah Valley.

Looking north is the picturesque, country-township of Canungra, situated in the Gold Coast hinterland, and southwest you’ll find the world renown and heritage-listed Lamington National Park.

PROPERTY FEATURES


The home, crafted onto the hillside in 1994, has been fully renovated and extended and offers spectacular vistas coupled with absolute privacy. The house has a large floor area of 350m2 and a land size of 202,700m2. The stunning 4-bedroom timber hilltop guest house, features open planned living spaces with raked timber ceilings, supported by luxurious Oregon Pine beams, polished hardwood timber floors and large glass doors & windows to respect the breathtaking views. The newly built infinity pool and large entertaining deck overlooks the western sunset, whilst the bespoke kitchen, central to the home, has views of the west and the Sarabah Range. The house accommodates all of the comfort amenities including an exquisite gas fireplace, infinity pool, large indoor & outdoor dining table, 2 x large TV’s with streaming devices, outdoor Bluetooth Yamaha sound system, dimmable lights, unlimited WIFI, reverse air conditioning & ceiling fans in all rooms, wine fridge, Falcon oven & more. It’s a real entertainers delight!

One night stay too short
I had booked off this amazing location for my 29th Bday party. Just me and some friends of mine getting away from the hustle of day to day work life and into the nature. And boy-o-boy wasn't this the perfect location. Kelly as a host was definitely very supportive throughout the process. If I get the opportunity, I would definitely be coming here again. Overall, a very good experience and would definitely recommend Kelly's Eagles Nest.
