The room. S were actually great. Looked all renovated, the only thing was is when people are talking loud. In other rooms, you can hear them, which kept us up at night and the slamming of doors kept waking my daughter up that's 8 years old. It scared her.

The beds were made with dirty sheets and there were ants in the bathroom. I’ve stayed at MANY DoubleTree hotels, but this has to be the dirtiest one ever. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating, but this was a horrible experience.

I reserved a room for 4 people, there was not enough towels, I asked for more and they didn’t have any, we had to use from the pool which also had the jacuzzi broken, the doors going to the outside of the pool (3 of them ) broken as well as the one to the dining area, had to be dragged and was unsafe, the only reason I got that room amongst other better and cheaper options was the indoor pool.

Good hotel for early flights out of SRQ
This is a fine place to stay overnight and very close to the hotel. The only inconvenience was that the airport shuttle didn’t start until 5 AM and flight to the airport takeoff starting at 6:30.

The only reason I choose this place was because of the indoor pool and spa. When I got to the hotel I learned it’s hot tub was out of service and the pool was not clean, it had scum and rust around the edges. The doors to the outside seating area were cabled shut, the inside did not have any where to sit, all the cushions were bagged up in trash bags and the pool room was cold, mostly caused from the exterior doors being opened and could not be closed all the way. If you’re wanting to stay in a hotel to enjoy the pool and hot tub please do not choose this one definitely very disappointed in not letting me know before I checked in about the very thing that I came to enjoy would not recommend staying here for this reason.
