We stayed 9 nights as we had two years back. We love the location to downtown and the St. Armands Circle and the canal view from our balcony. Some of the annoying things this time were that even though we called a few times to make sure everything was functional when we checked in we were informed that the rooms had no internet. There is major construction right next door only to find out it is the new Hyatt being built. The one we stayed in will be torn down and a new condominium complex will be built. So you are probably looking at a minimum of 4-5 years of construction noise. All in all we are seasoned travelers and we still had an enjoyable time. Hopefully we will be back in 5 years.

I had an amazing stay! When I went to check in, I asked how much it would be to upgrade to a balcony room, and they told me they had already given me a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room! Also, checkout morning, they gave me complimentary late checkout. I will definitely be staying here again.

Mold has grown on the ceiling and elevator halls. Even small requests were not listened to because it was Company Policy. (There is no problem with other hotels), I wish it could be a little more flexible.
