Beautiful views
Hyatt Hotel has amazing views! This hotel is beautiful and in a great location downtown near lots of great restaurants. It was very cold outside, and we opted to eat at the hotel restaurant for dinner (tenderloin medallions) and the food and service was wonderful. From valet to Check-in to Check-out we felt welcome. I would definitely stay here again!

Christmas morning my family and i ordered breakfast from the hotels restaurant witch is why im complaining, the waitresses clearly hated her job, after i ordered i brought my breakfast to our room and noticed i didnt receive everything that i had ordered and thought it wouldn't be a problem. Not the case, that same waitresses argued with me stating she personally bagged my order and that i was lying over an order of french toast. Not to mention my stay included breakfast everyday. This set a mood for our Christmas morning to witch we were staying because we are mourning the loss of our daughter. So i respectfully can not give a good review, i also informed the front desk to witch the young lady said sorry have a good day.

We stayed in the property for 3 nights and the room had cockroaches. The rooms were average and needing maintenance. The surrounding area of the hotel is good as it is near to Downtown Sarasota where there are a number dining and shopping options.

The hotel needs to be renovated ASAP!! We arrived at night and we were really tired and the AC was not working, it also had a smell and the next day we requested to be changed which they did and the other room had the fridge broken and requested to be change again and the AC was broken… we were too tired to keep moving so we stayed. The gym is really old fashion and was very dirty. The manager tried his best to solve our issues and even gave us a discount. But was not a very pleasant stay.

In the rooms there is no comfortable chair or even in the lobby no comfortable chair to seat and there was a charge for resort , did not understand what is the resort in the hotel if pool is considered resort all hotels have pools in Florida so not sure why Overall not satisfied
