I have stayed at the Guildwood Inn on several occasions when my work brings me to Sarnia. It is ideally located next to the water for walks during the warmer months, and close to restaurants and bars if one does not wish to use the hotel's facilities. The rooms are always clean and despite being close to the international bridge, very quiet. Highly recommend it

Julie , I believe she was guest services manager, was super accommodating and helpful. She worked with us with unusual timing needs, pets etc, over two stays. The rooms were super clean. Staff was amazing. The restaurant attached to the hotel had an included hot breakfast during the week, which was nice, but the information on the website and in writing is wrong. It says there is lunch service and express lunch available. There is no lunch service at all and no breakfast on the weekends . So plan to go somewhere else for those times. Theres no snack machines. Theres a tim hortons fairly close . by. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and accommodating and i would definitely stay again.

Loved the outdoor seating area. A little table would be a great addition to the chairs. GREAT BED!! Fresh fruit in AM on weekends and an amazing breakie that is served to you. When in the Sarnia area this is the place to stay for value and a great room. Discounts if member of BW points or CAA.

I needed a place to get some food and sleep. There was a geeat Italian place on Christina nearby. I had to turn off the AIRCON system due to the fan noise or something. Trying to sleep, the other units had similar AIRCON units that seemed to reverberate through the wall at the head of the bed. Searching for earplugs resulted in finding the trusty noise cancelling earbuds. Popping them in silenced things til needing recharge 4 hours later.Thank you Samsung!

The hot breakfast - on actual ceramic plates, coffee mugs, juice glasses and stainless utensils - was a wonderful surprise! The delicious hot food was served on warmed plates, no less - and the service was wonderful and friendly. Let's hear it for the Canadians! This Best Western has an Actual Kitchen! Five Stars, all around!

The hotel is a little dated. For some reason there was no hot water during the day however there was hot water early mornings for a shower. Was clean. Would stay again
