Upon inspection found dried blood in the sink, several dead beetles on carpet, and brown rings of dirt caked onto the tub. The huge iron gates held open with rocks is supposed to keep the addicts out after midnight. Only supplied 2 hand towels until we requested more. Towels were threadbare and bedding had stains. Free breakfast was dried out recycled fries, white pancakes, tomato soup and egg salad sandwiches. Staff are all wearing matching shirts and appear to be new immigrants. I worry that they are being taken advantage of by the employer. I wouldn't send my enemies here. It needs to be reported to public health. Found out later that this place was recently condemned.

The carpeting in the room was in poor condition and there were several insects present. Additionally, the heating system was not functioning properly, resulting in uncomfortably cold temperatures during the night.

Did not realize its a motel not hotel. Beds were uncomfortable and dirty. Floors dirty/sticky. No where to plug in the kettle for the instant coffee( no coffee machine). Bathroom dirty , hair in shower & on floor...toilet paper so thin i could watch tv threw it. Very loud area we could hear our neighbors and outside. Staff was very polite and helpful no complaints at all there. I would not stay at this place again.

The price was definitely the biggest advantage, as it was one of the more affordable options in the area. The staff was polite and quick to help with any issues, which added a positive touch to the stay. As for the room, it was pretty basic. It had everything needed for a short stay, but nothing beyond the essentials. The furniture and decor were a bit dated, and some areas, particularly the carpets and walls, could use a refresh. The cleanliness of the room was generally fine, though I did notice a few spots that could have been more thoroughly cleaned. The motel’s location was practical for getting around, but being close to a main road, there was occasional noise. It wasn’t a major issue for me, but light sleepers might want to keep that in mind. In conclusion, it’s not a place for a luxury stay, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option that covers the basics, it gets the job done.

the motel is fine for a quick stopover if you’re not expecting too much. It’s functional, affordable, and convenient, though a few updates here and there would make it more appealing.

You feel like you’re entering a compound, with a black iron fence/gate that is closed at night, and you need to request access to leave or re-enter after certain hours. Every person in our family was required to provide ID, even our child, which I’ve never encountered before. There’s a big bible prominently on display on the front desk, and there are multiple signs about it being a “drug free zone”, which I’m assuming is the cause of why they’re so strict and keep this place on lockdown 24/7. The room smelled ”stale” or of old smoke. There was a filthy top cover on the bed, with stains and burn holes in it, even though there’s no smoking allowed in the rooms. It felt like they’ve been around for decades and don’t get washed. Other than the top cover, there was only a flat sheet, so we needed to unpack our own blankets. The bed skirts were torn and filthy looking, just hanging off the boxspring. Towels were stained and nothing matched. The air conditioner provided no cooling, only white noise. The curtains didn’t fully close and covered the A/C. My daughter went to grab a cup of water and said the paper cups provided looked dirty. I never went into the dining area, but my husband did and then refused to consider staying for the complimentary breakfast and we left as early as we could. Overall, this place feels sketchy and unclean. You can tell they’re trying to improve on whatever this place was before, but they have a long way to go. We felt scrutinized and unwelcome.

Decent place for the price. Kind of a sketchy area. Still I'd probably go back if I'm ever in Saskatoon again.

Property was always inundated with very strong marijuana smoke, even in the non-smoking section, there was consistent noise, yelling, banging, running, some of the rooms had repeated late night / early morning visitors, one of those visitors even propositioned me, giving me an idea of what may be going on. Area was incredibly unsafe much like the rest of that part of Saskatoon, staff did a decent job of keeping the more aggressive individuals out, but, once you were outside, you were likely in for a rough time. Ayan was a particularly kind and helpful soul, and I believe if he had the power to he'd make the place a lot more bearable, but, the powers that be seem content with what's going on.
