Un clean room there was a mold ring in the yoilet in our room hair all over the gloor and tub, adults making the pool unsafe for children to be in no complementary breakfast.

the hotel itself was good. all we did was try to sleep. from 2 am to 6 am there were people arguing and yelling in the hallway, when i told the person at the desk the next morning they said they sent security up there but it didn’t stop, so not sure if they did and that they were dealing with it the next morning. so we barely got any sleep.. good hotel just crappy experience.

Lo y was nice and checking in was good, but hotel wasn’t busy and they gave me a room at far end of the hotel that needed updated. Heater in room was horrible. Turned up to 26 and was still cold. Called second night cause still was freezing at 26 and someone came to look and was condescending. Said I had to turn up thermostat and I said yes I know. Proceeded to tell him I turned up to 26 night before and left it like that all day and was still very cold and at 26 should be hot in there. He put his hand over and said see hear and I says yes it’s been like that since last night but if u don’t stand right next to it with your hands over it u don’t feel it. He cranked it to 28 and didn’t warm up until next night. Not impressed. The reception didn’t inform me about the $50/night deposit either but not to big of a deal since it was returned when I left.

Very unpleasant stay.
Stay was less than desirable. The beds in our room were extremely uncomfortable to the point where my 5 year granddaughter complained how uncomfortable they were. I called the front desk to ask for extra blankets as someone was sleeping on the pullout and it came with only a sheet, I was told by the front desk that they had no extra blankets. I questioned this and they said they would look and it would take half a hour!! Not acceptable when you are putting kids to bed. Also I utilized the stairs while there and they have filthy carpeting and smelled of smoke. It seems that they are not cleaned often as there was a beer can laying on the stairs the entire stay. It's safe to say, I will likely not return to the Travelodge as there are many options in Saskatoon for hotels with waterslides. I have included a picture of the bed.

Terrible. Stayed there Dec 25/2024, we rented a themed room, poolside and balcony room. The rooms smelt so strongly of chemical. My 62yr old father checked out early due to his chest hurting and eyes burning. Myself and my children also checked out early the next day. I left with a burning chest and headache, two days later I visited an emergency room, due to my chest not easing off. I was perscribed an inhaler and was told that with a chemical burn it would take a few days longer to go away. I do not recommend anyone staying here, with underlying health conditions or respiratory issues. Also to note, the rooms were not very clean at all..

The rooms could use some major upgrading, and the area felt very unsafe. The door closest to the room we stayed in needs some work it was very worn out, and looked like many people have tried breaking into it. They do have security walking around the building outside. The swimming areas were extremely clean, and well taken care of. Too bad they don’t take that much pride in the state of there rooms. Overall if you love to swim, and play on water slides / have kids the swimming area is great, staff are all very friendly, and the rooms need a lot of attention /renovations

Check-in was fast and efficient. After arriving in our room we found that one lamp was broken and not useable as well the two lights above the beds didn't work either. the lamps over the beds were plugged into a power bar which was then plugged into a broken wall outlet that moved inside its electrical box if the bed moved. This was a very unsafe situation which i alerted the staff about when checking out. Building is old and with it having waterslides and water park it was very noisy from children and also quite noisy late at night as well. if you have kids would be ok to stay at but not as an older couple. Hall ways were cleaned daily and staff were pleasant.

The staff were not welcoming, the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, every time we left the room we could smell smoke, the tub did not drain properly, there was not enough cream or sugar in the room (we stayed for 4 days and didn’t bother to ask the maid for extra after our one cup).
