Room not Ready at Check in
The hotel is in good location in the center of all major attractions. I'm giving three stars because we arrived there at 4:30 PM and check in is supposed to be at 3:00 pm but our room was not ready when we got there, and we were asked to wait extra 30 minutes to get the room ready. We were told they had a bunch of late check out, but that not my problem... we flew for three hours to get to Atlanta and drove four hours to Savannah; the last thing I wanted was to wait for the room to be ready. By the way, because they had to rush to clean the room, the bathroom corners and behind the door were full of hairs.

Great hotel
My husband and I stayed 4 night for work and short vacation. We enjoyed everything, clean, comfy and great location, we can walk to many different restaurant around. We will come back soon in few month for another trip.

I have been coming to Savannah for 15 years now for business and pleasure. This Hampton Inn is what you expect from a quality, value and convenience perspective. The hidden beauty of this particular hotel is its location to everything Savannah has to offer. You can walk to most everything within 20 minutes.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room faced the main street and it seems the window is not sound proof. We heard cars drive by all night. But, all in all, the front desk rep, Marie, was very pleasant to speak with. And she welcomed us and thanked us for being Hilton members.

We were very pleased we chose this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the person at the front desk. Since we took an early morning flight, we didn't expect our room to be ready but the employee said she would be happy to store our luggage and notify us as soon as it was. We asked about nearby restaurants & shopping areas. She made several recommendations just steps away from the Inn. A couple of hours later, we got the call that our room was ready. The room was spacious & clean. Just one caveat, if you want your room serviced, you need to let them know in advance at the front desk. Breakfast hours & options are very good; Coffee/Tea is available to guests 24/7. There are several large seating areas in their lovely lobby. In closing, the staff was friendly & courteous throughout our stay. This hotel is situated in the heart of the historic district across from the Savannah River. We highly recommend it! :)

It’s a nice hotel but I asked for a view so I was disappointed when I didn’t receive one. The second disappointment bothered me greatly. I am traveling by myself and I am sSenior Citizen, female and the hotel clerk put me on a floor at the very end of a very long hall, quite a distance from the elevator

Overall was great stay. Had issue with non-working HVAC the first night but that was remedied next day. Hotel concierges (weekday and weekend) were the highlight. Very personable and extremely helpful in setting up transportation and answering questions. Would highly recommend hotel for pet owners.

The location was great, the concierge Marley was fantastic however the hotel itself was average. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived which was expected, however it was an hour later than check in time by the time they were available. The front desk was making excuses that they were full the night before and just recently moved the check in time form 4:00pm to 3:00pm. They also told me they didn't have a room with a king size bed so was two queens ok. I said, no that is not ok. The ultimately found a room with a king sized bed. The breakfast was ok, the wifi was very slow and the TV's were difficult to operate. The TV's were very pixelated and moved in slow motion. We had to restart ours several times just to get different channels and to have it work. Our room keys didn't always work to get into the pool area and that can be irritating when the pool is on floor 7 and you need to get your key reprogrammed.
