The staff was very unprofessional and uninformed, giving us the wrong information. The hallways were smelly and the rooms and facilities were not well-maintained. We added breakfast to our stay and the breakfast options were good, but the service was extremely slow. There was a complimentary happy hour each day that was nice and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great location too, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location for this property. Unfortunately it is dated and the rooms smelled horrible, like mold and mildew horrible. Reached out to the front desk as nice as possible and was told it would be noted. The Italian restaurant on site was not enjoyable as well, burned pizza, no meat in the pasta dish, rude waiter etc...much better options in Savannah in my humble opinion. Full disclosure the front desk and door people were nice and courteous.

My issues with hotel were there is no soundproofing between rooms and you can also hear everything in the hallway. Pet friendly hotel but they dont seem to have an area dedicated for people with pets so you hear dogs barking on your floor. I expected more from a Kimpton branded hotel.

Ok I’m going to give a little room for coming to the hotel one day after electricity came on from Hurricane Helena… however I would have appreciated a heads up about limited food/drink/cocktail options. I specifically picked due to restaurant on the property & rated highly. Check in great, parking package I chose during reservation was honored but hotel stated $49 valet a night. I wasn’t charged for that thank goodness. The hotel condition for a Kimpton is alarmingly unkept. Floors in main entrance lobby & halls on first floor so badly worn out. Mats at entrance need replacing. Only place hotel smelled good was the lobby. So glad I opted at checkout for a printed copy of my 2 night stay! Because several days later a pending charge for “fitness center” in the amount of $227.39 appears! Waiting to be able to speak with manager as she is currently unavailable- ughhh!

Beautiful historic building just steps away from River Street and all the historic sites of Savannah! Wine hour every evening and a great little restaurant for breakfast as well. We loced our stay and will definitely return!

I planned my first trip in my EV and stayed at the Kimpton Brice because they said they had an EV charger. What they didn't say is they charge $50/night to do so. The night before I was leaving, I told them to be sure the car is charged since we are getting on the road in the morning. When I woke up, I checked the cars app and the ar was not charged, not was it charging. They didn't even understand why I was so upset. They shrugged and said "well it's charging now". When I explained to them that with their charger it's going to take at least 8 hours to charge and last night we had a conversation about me this morning. The response was "well I don't know anything about electric cars". And that was the MANAGER. Ultimately the treated me like I was the one who made the mistake. No apologies, no one trying make the situation right, no one at the hotel attempted to make the situation better. My only mistake is picking the Kimpton Brice Also, If you are traveling alone, there are virtually no lights in front of the hotel. I was traveling alone, but I fear those who are, in such a dark area.
