Schönecken has a historic town center, castle ruins, a castle chapel, a craft museum and educational forest trails. You can reach the castle ruins via beautiful hiking trails or from the village via a staircase along the castle chapel. In beautiful, clear weather, the view from the castle is phenomenal.
