The Palihotel is a boutique hotel one block from the famous public market and waterfront. Although a nice hotel, I was expecting something different/interesting since it is not a generic national hotel chain. The room decor was rather bland. You are paying for location. The Hart and Hunter restaurant is understaffed at breakfast - forgotten coffee was never delivered after a 2nd request and I had to flag down another server. Never saw the original server again (he was staffing the take-out coffee counter). Other breakfast options are very nearby. Overall, a very nice 4-night stay, but nothing memorable.

Michael front desk was sweet and caring with my elderly 98 grandmother we were traveling with really made checking in easy. Also, Khalin went over and beyond my coming with me to parking lot since we arrived after midnight and I was a little concerned about walking back to hotel. Top notch service !!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will share with all my friends and followers the amazing experience we had.

Excellent restaurant! Hotel has a very eclectic style, bathrooms are dark but well renovated with a nice shower. However some of the rooms are extremely noisy, mattress was broken. If you are by the street it is too noisy to sleep, unless you are used to loud city noises. The area is rather unsafe I saw things I can never unsee.
