I would say the cabin was as described by the owner. Older but clean, adequate for two. The cabin, while somewhat historic is a bit worn and in need of a good bit of maintenance. It's best aspect is it's location, if you want to be close to the tourist area of Sedona, or focus your hiking on the Schnebley Road area. Parking is tight, on property, as there are two cabins sharing a small driveway.Communication with the owner was a bit difficult, and we normally waited 3-7 days for responses, but they did work with us in reference to bringing our dogs with us, and it was appreciated. Overall, if you're not looking for a place you would spend a great deal of time hanging out in, but more a place to sleep and then break out for the day, it will work. As the cost of renting keeps climbing, the little things really start to matter. Sparse, basic living spaces do work, but I would likely try others before going back.
