Located right at Dongdaemun History and Cultural Park station on the subway, transportation was super convenient from this hotel to various areas of the city, with three lines feeding into the station. There is even a convenient and comfortable airport bus that stops right in front of the hotel, even early morning at around 4:40am to Incheon Airport for my morning flight (thankfully so since security took at least an hour to clear even at 6:00am). Staff were very nice, able to use English and Japanese for foreigners as well (I often spoke in Japanese to them). The room was solid, and somewhat Japanese in hotel style especially with the bathroom.
My biggest complaint was that the doors to the hallway let in a lot of sound. I had to use ear plugs even late in the night since I could hear the children/family across the hall who were being loud even at around 1 or 2am. Better sound proofing would be great. With earplugs I slept fine.
Breakfast was included and great and in the lobby dining area. Overall, I do recommend this hotel, especially to Japanese travelers, despite some sound issues.
