Practical hotel with good parking and city centre
Check in was very efficient and the food menu was sensibly priced, offering nice variety. It made life a lot easier for us to have our evening meal there rather than head out on a winter evening with young children. Our boys really liked the table football in reception and the rooms were no frills but well presented and cleaned. Parking at the adjacent Q-Park was very straightforward and safe, and you receive a half price code for an advance booking with your room confirmation email. The blocks immediately alongside the hotel are a little run down, but in barely 1-2 minutes you're past them and have various shops and takeaway options at your disposal. The city centre's main shops begin around 5 mins walk away and it's perfectly placed for Ponds Forge.

50th birthday celebrations
We stayed at ibis first time and will definitely stay again.i booked on hotels .com and was very easy .we was visiting Sheffield due to my 50th birthday party with family. Once I booked I got message about parking if book early I got 50% off so only coat 10pounds for 24hrs which was excellent had no issues regarding entry and exit . The check in was quick .the room was very clean good bed had good sleep and shower was brilliant very hot no issues with anything ok storage for us overall would stay again .didn't have breakfast so can't say anything about that.

Great city centre stay on a budget.
Great location to reach all the city centre. We only stayed one night to visit the Crucible theatre and Christmas market and this was a great spot to stay. We parked in the park and ride and got the tram to just outside the hotel. Staff were lovely, our room was comfortable but the window was faulty so we had to have a member of staff come force it shut. They did offer for us to move room if we wanted but it wasn't necessary. I would stay here again.
