Businesses trip maybe, but not for family.
I had no issues with booking or at the front desk, but entering the room was another story. Firstly our 2yr old son didn’t want to go in the room. Then our almost 10yr old daughter noticed a roach that was the biggest I've ever seen(our house is in the woods in the country, and we burn wood for heat, so we're familiar with roaches). I believe seeing that, and the almost inch gap in the baseboard where the guy ran off to just made us all uncomfortable about wanting to stay.

Bed frame, solid sheet of metal made noise as you slept. Trash trucks picking up garbage in the entrance of motel, loud as hell. Air conditioners leaking water on walkways. Couldn't go into pool till last days there. Outside green light blinking all night, front entrance not so visible from road, especially at night. Bathroom looked like a blind person installed the caulk in all the corners of the room. Do have to admit the staff was great, very pleasant and helpful, the motel needs an upgrade, the fa-cade is old school 1960,s. It was close to my daughter's home so it was ok.

Stay was ok.Not as great as i thought. The moment i checked into my room the smell of Marijuana just hit me in my face. I am a highly allergic to that smell. And they said no smoking 🚭 in the room 🤔.

Poor facility
I was told that the quieter rooms on the back side away from street were for smoking only. So for non-smoking I had to stay in a noisier front side room. The entire facility was old and run down, not very clean.

The bath room was dirty when we checked in. The parking was dirty. The rooms did not look like the picture they show online they also so that they have hot tubs in the description online but when we got to the property they said they do not have hot tubs

I am a business owner who had employees staying at this property for over a month. My employees are a 30 year old and 20.5 year old. I accidently booked the room in the 20.5 year old's name for the week. The owner reused to check him in. I understand the underage policy, but the owner would not compromise nor would he refund our money.

The Food Soldier Franchise Owner
I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend while waiting for my workweek to start back up. On Memorial Day itself, I went down to get breakfast. I took two plates for myself back to my room, which I ate completely, and did so very cleanly in the process. On the way out, the franchise owner was actually yelling at me, screaming. He treated me like I stole something. I paid for my room, which includes breakfast. I have NEVER heard of a hotel having a policy like that, much less attempting to enforce it with such confrontation. When I was getting ready to do laundry, I put quarters into the soap dispenser. It says “slide will lock out when empty”. It takes the quarters and nothing comes out. I go up to the front desk, and the same man insists that I pay another $1.25 for the same box of soap behind the counter. He was extremely rude and treated me like a second-class citizen. You cannot be that cheap, lack integrity, and expect your sh*thole of a hotel to continue prospering. I hope his hotel goes out of business. He obviously isn’t investing in the property itself anyway.
