Simy and his staff were just perfect from the time we checked in until we checked out 6 days later.
No words are available to describe the beauty of Shelter Cove, CA.
We had two days of sunshine while the last 4 days were cloudy, but that did not matter. Shelter Cove and The Inn at Lost Coast was heaven on earth.
With our window open every night, we were able to hear the majestic Pacific Ocean from our room.
We celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary during this stay and was treated to a complimentary bottle of bubbly from the staff.
Highly recommend The Inn at Lost Coast and the village of Shelter Cove.

We needed a hotel after the lost coast hike. This one wasn’t the most cleanly, comfortable or welcoming. The hot tub was slimy and smelled like stinky feet. The sheets were not white and old. It was also over priced simply due to its location. Wouldn’t return.
The innkeeper is doing a great job. We will be back!

I understand the price is much higher for the facility because of the location. But check-in wasn’t welcoming, the restaurant they touted on website wasn’t open, the view was ok. Big reclining chair positioned right in front of bathroom door was weird. 40min drive from main highway was not worth it for me.
The hotel’s dog friendly which is a plus for our road trips. The property is located right on the cliffs of the Pacific and staff was very helpful. The price tag was pretty steep however.
Such amazing views of the ocean, sunset, and a peaceful place to relax. Wish we had planned to spend more than one night at this perfect little place. Hope to be back someday!
