At first glance, I was not sure if the property was open. I went inside to ask and found the person behind the front desk to be very helpful. I was looking at the listing on Expedia and he told me to book from there as it would be less expensive to do so. That information saved me about $35.
When I got to the room, it was fine. Clean with no weird smells and quiet. There were a few things wrong but they were minor. The bedside lamp wouldn't stay on and I could only get 1 station on the TV, but I think the later was due to operator error. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. The HVAC unit worked like expected.
The bathroom was clean and when I showered in the morning, the tub was NOT slow to drain. That was nice as I am not a fan of standing in dirty, soapy water while I shower. Two things about the bathroom: 1- I was not a fan of the soap. Bring your own. And you might want to do that with hair care products as well. I have very short hair and the provided shampoo was fine with me, but I can see where it wouldn't be for others. 2-The toilet bowl is an elongated one, but they installed a round toilet seat. It did its job, keeping my tushy out of the water, but it did look funny.
The provided breakfast was minimal. Apple and orange juice, 4 different kinds of cold "kid cereals", individual slices of bread, biscuits, and muffins, sausage gravy, and a waffle maker. There was a coffee machine offering a variety from its touch screen.
Overall, a very good experience.
