For the first time, here is a hotel that does not give you a bath mat, but hand towels instead. When I made a request at the reception, they said we ‘we don’t have bath mats anymore but you can use hand towels instead’. I responded saying I don’t feel comfortable using a hand towel for the floor and they said, don’t mind that. Very mediocre breakfast and terrible food at the other restaurant. Walls are paper thin and you need to hope the next door neighbours are quiet to have a decent nights sleep. Then we realised that this hotel is being used as the venue for an immersive play of the Fawlty Towers and that sums it all up. (I love the show, but hate the idea of being stuck in one). Dont be fooled by the rating on this hotel! You are warned!

Lovely hotel, good location with friendly staff.
Great hotel, good visit as usual. My only issue is that there are only four, maybe five disabled bays in the car park one of which is like a normal space. People park in these spaces without badges and there appears to be no action taken. Its private property so the hotel management of course have discretion but I find it disappointing.

Gorgeous property and countryside. Helpful, friendly staff. Especially loved the pool and leisure facilities. The mattress was past it's prime, but the other aspects of the stay made up for it. I'll be back.

We only stayed one night, so didn't have chance to use the hotel facilities. But it was busy. Easy to find, loads of car parking. Rooms were clean, but could do with a really deep clean. Bathroom clean. Hotel is very close to many restaurants and activities. Leeds and Bradford both close by. Would recommend great to be in a quiet green area but so close to the city.
