The rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Convenient location and safe environment. They ran out of yogurt for breakfast on day 2. The gym had an exercise bike that did not work correctly.

Overall a decent place. The only outdoor seating was for smokers, so we were chased away pretty quick from enjoying the quiet evening. The breakfast was terrible. Hard, dry biscuits in Amish country is pretty disappointing.

Overall it’s a very nice hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and it was relatively quiet. One thing we notice was that the elevator was small and couldn’t accommodate my husband’s wheelchair but could his walker.

Very clean Nice breakfast - both cold and hot choices Front desk personal were welcoming and helpful We have stayed at other hotels in Shipshewana,however The Van Buren is going to be our choice going forward. Great location to restaurants, Flee Market, and shops.
