The staff was very friendly. They walked us to our room. The room was very nice. They had a book on the coffee table about the artist the room was named after, as well as on original oil on canvas painting by him. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that it seemed understaffed. There was only on person (very pleasant) that was bartending, manning the front desk, and handling valet parking. That definitely slows things down and keeps her a bit too busy to stay focused.

Valet was excellent. Bar had no wine list and had poor and unfriendly service. Our two-story room had a narrow spiral staircase between levels that was totally inappropriate for people our age, and the window blinds were closed and inoperable.

We LOVE this hotel and make it a point to stop a few times a year. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We love to unwind on the rooftop couches and the individually decorated rooms are always something special.
