It's starting to tire, but not an overly obvious way. However, it's not the flawless service experience you'd expect from a Park Hyatt.

Fabulous Hotel

This hotel is situated very close to Pub street and lots of restaurants and markets. It is a peaceful oasis with a serene atmosphere in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Siam Reap. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were plentiful and well made. We never got the chance to eat dinner but had lunch in the cafe which again was of a high standard and quality. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Khmer chic in Siem Reap

Hotel de la Paix is centrally located in Siem Reap (20mins from the airport) and within a short walk to the main streets like Pub Street. The design of the hotel is superb and totally matched by the excellent staff who anticipate your every need, sometimes before you realise you need it! Cold fresh hand towels are presented each time you enter the hotel which immediately refresh weary or sticky travellers. The front desk arranged a 2 day tour of the Angkor Wat complex with an English speaking guide and driver, within 30 mins of our request. Complimentary bottles of water were provided in the room and to our driver so we had a cold water supply during the excursions. There is lovely little cafe in the hotel for breakfast, lunch or snacks with good coffee. I'd especially recommend the fruit salad as the mix of watermelon, papaya, dragon fruit etc is delicious.
