Nice hotel, great location for the Singapore GP. Hotel undergoing renovations, so slightly inconvenient, but staff tried their best. Unfortuately, long waits at reception.

The lobby of the hotel is quite small and old. When I opened the door of the hotel room, there’s a bad smell coming out, which explains why there was an air purifier in the hallway and in the room. Air conditioning had a noise which is pretty obvious during the night time. Sound proof in the hotel doesn’t exist. Anything in the hallway or upstairs can be heard in the room. I only slept for a night without interacting with staff too much but when I checked out in the morning, the front desk staff is quite arrogant for no reason. There’s no service standard in this hotel. Definitely not going back again.

Hotel rooms are newly renovated. However there was the room phone is not able to call reception. I wanted an ironing board, and had to get down to reception to inform them. Room lighting is not enough. Need another 1-2 light points. Swimming pool is in another tower, which is inconvenient. Reception and rooms are in separate tower, inconvenient. Room had filtered drinkable water which was very handy abd useful.

Well located hotel
Excellent location close to City Hall and Hill St, easy access to all the main sites in Singapore. The room was comfortable with a large bed, good wifi and a large TV. The bathroom includes a shower and bath but was a little cramped. The common parts of the hotel are a little tired but there was upgrade works going on during our stay so potentially will be improved shortly. Definitely recommend at this price point.
