Tiny Helen
Summary:
Feel the waves of contentment roll in and allow yourself surrender to serenity as you sit back with book and cup of tea in tow at Tiny Helen.
Drive just 2.5 hours west of Melbourne until you reach the vast landscapes of nearby Skipton, where this tiny resides. Become one with nature as you journey into the native countryside and find your inner wandering spirit.
Watch as sheep graze in the fields nearby, silo views unfold, and a pastoral painting comes to life framed by the main tiny home window. This tiny was made for peaceful, relaxing moments spent reading.
Find solace in the stillness and expect to leave this tiny with a newfound appreciation for tiny home living.
The Space:
Tiny Helen sleeps up to four with a double-bed in the loft and another double-bed by the window.
This tiny home is suitable for a two-wheel drive. Be wary of sharp rocks on the property when driving. Please park in the designated parking spot and walk 150 metres.
We've partnered with the Victorian National Trust to introduce Tiny Helen, located on the Historic Mooramong Estate, formerly owned by Australian millionaire Donald ‘Scobie’ MacKinnon and Hollywood star Claire Adams.
The tiny home is secluded, however, it is a working farm, so prepare to fully immerse yourself in country life as you might see farmers, a tractor, or animals in a nearby paddock.
We provide bedding, linen, and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, outdoor bath, books, games, and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches, and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. There are normal 240-volt power points in this house, but please don't try to charge large devices.
The Neighborhood:
Please note, to keep our houses hidden the location shown on the map is not accurate and should be used as a rough guide. The exact location will be revealed two days before your stay.
Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: Unfortunately, Tiny Helen has a strict no pets policy - sorry!
