Very convenient for Heathrow airport. The hotel has lots of character and is very old - the rooms are modern and well equipped but the stairs and corridors are necessarily narrow and uneven simply because of the age of the building. The bar is charming and looks to have good food offerings (breakfast and dinner - maybe all day - not sure). If you are a history buff you'll love all the artefacts and pictures on the walls throughout the building.
What a great staff and an interesting Inn. The food was amazing and a big draw to the locals. The history behind the Inn is something else. Just ask the staff. We would definitely go back.Close to Windsor and London.
We were pleasantly surprised, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everyone was friendly. We didn’t really have any problem with Street noise had a great night. Sleep. We would definitely go there again.
I loved the Hotel and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately we had a mishap which lead to one of us to get locked out of their room after help had already left. Thankfully after a bit of stress we were able to have someone come open it for us and let us back in. I would suggest letting guests, especially foreigners know that the place will shut up at a certain point but besides that the stay was great albeit a little loud from the traffic. Would 10/10 recommend
This 12Century coaching inn is less than 15 minutes from Heathrow and worth the drive. Do yourselves a favor and stay here instead of one of the impersonal generic airport hotels. Friendly staff, wonderful comfortable clean (modern) room in a quaint pub that’s full of rustic charm, and is surprisingly peaceful. Our stay was topped off with a full English Breakfast. Highly recommend and will be returning when I’m next in the UK.
Had a great time feeling like a local here at the Osterich Inn! Built in 1109 - 3rd oldest pub/Inn in England. The pub is so quaint with friendly and welcoming feel. Dinner was delicious, chatting with such great local people!
