The location suited us and the parking was free. The bed in our room was tired and needed replacing. The tv did not work, but as we were in bed when we tried to get it to work we did not bother going back into the bar to speak to a member of staff. My wife’s breakfast was luke warm but once again we left it and did not complain. So sorry but it left a lot to be desired.

This unique property dating back to 1106 is a special treat. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in the London area. The Inn offers good food, friendly staff, cozy rooms, and a fascinating story about a hidden trap door under a bed. You'll enjoy every aspect of the Ostrich Inn.

Very convenient for Heathrow airport. The hotel has lots of character and is very old - the rooms are modern and well equipped but the stairs and corridors are necessarily narrow and uneven simply because of the age of the building. The bar is charming and looks to have good food offerings (breakfast and dinner - maybe all day - not sure). If you are a history buff you'll love all the artefacts and pictures on the walls throughout the building.

Best surprise of our trip
What a great staff and an interesting Inn. The food was amazing and a big draw to the locals. The history behind the Inn is something else. Just ask the staff. We would definitely go back.Close to Windsor and London.
