Really quaint and wonderful little gem. The breakfast was fantastic and the beds very clean and comfortable. Lobby area is very rustic and mountain chic. It is an older property with a few things that could be updated, but overall the value was very good. I would return here for sure.

I liked the fact the hotel has an old construction. It gives it personality. However, some areas including bathrooms and elevators need remodeling. The hotel lounge is gorgeous and the location is very convenient to walk, dine, shop and of course, ski.

Our room was clean and quiet. It was quite warm even though the nighttime temperature was in the 30s. We had to keep our exterior door open just to make the room tolerable. It’s definitely an older, outdated property but we didn’t mind that. Their breakfast begins on the later side, making it inconvenient for those of us who want to get an early start to the day. Of much greater importance, though, the women who run the breakfast area were quite slow and generally unpleasant. NO WAY TO BEGIN A DAY!

Still a pleasure to go to Snowmass Mountain Chalet. It's a very affordable and very comfortable hotel, in Snowmass Village. Ideal for hikers/mountain bikers who want to avoid the overpriced properties in Aspen and still enjoy mountain atmosphere at its fullest.

The evening staff were both very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was amazing each day and I enjoyed it much more than a buffet style breakfast. Don’t let this disappear. It is a nice change of pace from the usual breakfast at other places. I would definitely stay again.
