A little history
In 1923 as part of the launch of Hossegor, the eminent architect Henri Godebarge, played a major role in the urbanization of this new seaside resort. He will design several important projects including the casino and 15 villas that he will sign in his typical Basque-Landes style. Villa Arridente (La Rieuse en Basque) is one of 15 villas representing this authentic "regional art".
