Everything was beautiful about the property. The prices of food and drinks were extremely high. And when I mentioned on numerous occasions to the staff that it was my wife and I 1st anniversary they didn't even offer a drink or anything. Just a smile. Ii expected a bit more than that.

Not the best experience
We stayed off-peak season, (Oct 22, 2024), the weather was sunny and perfect, we were dying to get to the beach, but check in was slow (30 min with no line), our room was far from the reception and we had to go back twice to get keys that worked. Then we couldn’t put our valuables away because the safe didn’t work. We waited for security ( another 1/2 hr), for it to eventually be replaced. Then we went to the pool and were told there are no towels unless you get them at the reception desk. So, another long walk back to reception. Some of the resort facilities were closed. The place needs an update badly. The saving grace was that the king bed and pillows were very comfortable. We would not stay there again though.

Island stay
The room that I got was nothing like the pictures. The rooms in the pictures made the resort seem newly remodeled. The room by no means was bad but just not what I was expecting. Could have stayed at a newer hotel for the price or a few bucks more. Also…. TV wasn’t working. I did like that there was a bar on site. I had never been to the Quarterdeck. Nice place.
