The hotel needs remodeled. When we first checked in, the room smelled of mold. The ac unit had black mold growing. They did give us a new room, but we ended up with food poisoning from the restaurant. Resort prices but not resort appeal and amenities. Go elsewhere.

I really like the resort so close to the beach the ocean water was very clear. Overall Margaritaville resort is nice staff super friendly land shark restaurant food was very good and the service very good. The couple of things that I did not like, the room that my wife and I stayed in the sliding door to the balcony the handle was messed up The balcony rail was screwed into the wall, not anchored to the wall, and they had a little sign on the railing that said do not lean or sit on the railing for your safety. The door to the bathroom needed to be adjusted due to when you open the door it would get stuck on the floor at about 3/4 of the way open. The swimming pool tile grout needs some attention. The resort needs to have more of a beach, vibe music throughout with videos of Jimmy Buffett Beach boys Kenny Chesney, any of the artist having the beach vibe theme. on Friday and Saturday they did have a DJ at the swimming pool from like 10 AM to about five or 6 PM which was nice then at 7:30. They had a live band at the Landshark restaurant. That was very nice overall very family friendly.

Booked this hotel for two nights of our honeymoon. Arrived at the hotel and the member of staff booking us in was not very friendly or welcoming. Our room had the smallest balcony that the hotel has and only one chair making it not very enjoyable or usable. I asked for some breakfast tea for the room but was repeatedly given green tea dispite stating I did not want green tea. The pool bar is advertised as closing late but on our second day it closed before 7pm and was very poorly stocked they did not have any of their own beer or any beer on tap. The outside toilet was dirty and smelt like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. For what we paid for 2 nights at this hotel we thought that we would have had a much nicer experience especially with it being our honeymoon.

The property itself is nice. Quiet. Safe. But the rooms could use some updates. The cable kept freezing up and going in and out. If you didn't have the AC on freezing the mirrors in the room would fog up and there would be condensation on the floor. The maid service was hit or miss. Onsite restaurant and staff were great though. Would help if there were microwaves were in the rooms.
