Grateful for staff at my very late check in at 23:30. Kind and friendly. Comfortable bed. Safe. Close to mall. Short drive to Portland. Lots of parking. Clean bathroom. Fridge in room. Continental breakfast.

I had reserved a room or so I thought for Wed check out Thursday (Sept). However reservation (dates defaulted to Oct) and was reserved for Wednesday checkout Thursday (October). I begged and pleaded that this was not right. Of course no one would work with me. So I had to reserve another room $152 for the correct dates. So now I’m waiting to see if the hotel will credit my cc for the incorrect date. Just waiting and praying these people will have the heart to do the right thing! Just sad that no one is willing to help and it’s all about getting paid.

When we checked in, the first room we were assigned had a broken toilet. I could hear it running when I walked in the room and there was still stuff in the toilet. I went back to the front desk where they switched us to the room next door. It looked like they were trying to renovate the property because there were mismatched paint patches in the hallways and in our room. The hallways could have used a good vacuum, and the outside was littered with trash. The only upside to the property is that they have a little trail at the back of the property, which was nice since we traveled with a dog. However, the most frustrating part was that they use your info within their brand portfolio, so I received a call for promotional deals the week after my stay, which I find wildly inappropriate since I never elected to receive these types of communication. This property overall could use some TLC but was good enough for the quick stay we had.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom had horrible workmanship including a nail sticking out of the vanity and visible duct tape holding the piping together. Breakfast was a disaster. It was apparent the breakfast attendant had never done it before. Coffee was out, no utensils available, eggs were ice cold, no butter available and most bread options were out. The worst part is the other employee didn’t seem to care and did nothing to help. She could have easily given a helping hand.
