A little disappointing

Hotel looked very tired and dated. Breakfast was really bad, eggs were hard, like they had been left out for too long. Staff were average at best. Really did not enjoy.

Very surprised!

Very pleasantly surprised. I thought low price meant fairly average but the Ibis Southampton exceeded my expectations in every way. Friendly, efficient check in, bright, clean, comfortable, quiet room. Had a drink from the bar when we got back after a show at the Mayflower theatre too. Couldn’t fault the whole stay, brilliant.

It is located within walking distance of the bus station, cruise ship terminal, restaurants , bars shopping etc Staff were excellent , especially Rohith who went above and beyond
