Lovely two bedroom place with stunning views
A couple hours from Hobart, this is in a lovely spot, views not done justice on listing. The main issue we noted was this is NOT 3 BEDROOM. It's 2 bedroom, 1 with 3 beds and a curtain. Hopefully owner will now correct the error. If you are visiting Southport or not, the Hastings Thermal Springs and Caves (15 mins from Southport) worth visiting if you have any interest in nature/history. The cave tour was Excellent and a highlight of our Tas adventure!! Currently there are significant roadworks between Hobart n Southport. Guessing trip would be shorter once complete. Btw, thx 4 welcome Tim Tam's Monique!

Commanding position in Southport Bay
The property is ideally situated right at the entrance of the small village of Southport in probably the best position of all the properties there, being just far enough away from and above the main road to be just that bit more private, but still only 30 seconds walk to be on the sand of the beach. The house was great for our 5 nights, roomy, well heated with the woodheater, low maintenance interior well suited for the beach environment, it was just terrific, and only a few minutes to the local hotel for meals and a bar, we will be back again.
