We appreciate the simplicity of the room with it's modern features. The windows are deep and provide a great view of downtown. Clean linens and the bathroom was spotless. The front staff are friendly to deal with and certainly a reason why we continue to rebook.

The Alt Hotel is a gorgeous spot! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for Valentine’s Day and it was so lovely. Our room was clean, bright, efficient and cozy. It had everything we needed. The lighting/AC/heat/everything system in the room is such a cool feature! You can literally call for a housekeeper from your bed as well as adjust all the lights in the room with the touch of a button. Not to mention the staff at guest services (front desk) were so sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Definitely will be staying here again and will be recommending the Alt Hotel to all my friends and family looking to book a stay away from home! Thanks for the lovely Valentine’s day evening!

The Alt is a wonderful hotel option in downtown St. John's with views of Signal Hill and the Harbour. Modern facilities with indoor parking. Extremely nice and helpful staff. We love staying at the Alt.

Lovely hotel. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Staff were friendly and lovely. Terre was incredible for breakfast. Downtown St Johns is losing its vibe and doesn’t always feel safe and clean.

Enjoyed our stay for the most part. The windowed shower/bathroom is a poor design. If one uses the washroom in the middle of the night, the light fills the bedroom … which can be distracting. Otherwise, everything was top notch, including the staff.
