This is obviously not a 5 star hotel! Theres no elevator or shuttle to the airport and there was a rude obnoxious person might have been on drugs in the lobby in the morning banging on the front desk! But this is also St. Louis. It was cheap stay! The room was very clean and quiet! Sure, it could use some work but again. this isn't a five star hotel! The staff was very friendly and I don't mind staying in places like this from time to time! Definitely not a unsafe area by any means! if you're looking for a budget stay. Not a bad spot! Stayed in way worse hotels!
I was very satisfied; I'm not one to spend a lot of money on a hotel. The room was clean. I was disappointed that the eco-friendly signs were a lie: my towels were replaced every day, even the day I was in the room and said "I don't need new towels." My soap was thrown away daily too.
The provided breakfast was ok. I wish there had been some fruit other than apples. Most hotels I've stayed in have had a waffle iron, but not this one.
The mattress felt well broken in, but I slept pretty well and didn't get a sore back or anything. I didn't hear any airplane noise despite the location being very close to the airport.
The musty smell of the entire room. Had to keep air conditioning running all night and froze to death in our little flimsy bedding. Never again & we only stayed 6 hours
To start the lady at the front desk nothing less than unwelcoming. I felt like I was getting scammed because she kept telling my cards weren’t working for the deposit. I had to try 3 different cards that I know had money on them. She was very uninformed and unhelpful. I stay all across the country in bad areas and have never felt as uneasy as I did staying here. Mostly because of my interaction with her. Would not recommend based on customer service everything else was fine.
I had asked the afternoon Receptionist for a do not disturb sign and she said they don’t have anything like that because housekeeping has to come in and clean our rooms and I told her I’m a single female traveling alone. I don’t want people in my room and she got an attitude with me. The next morning, the receptionist gave me a do not disturb sign And was absolutely kind about it so the following morning I went back to Receptionist and I handed her the door sign and I asked her I said why couldn’t you just give me this the day before and she got an attitude with me and then she found me out in the parking lot and confronted me and yelled at me and I had it on video . And there was a smashed cockroach on the wall that had been there for days, and I took a picture of that
Obviously, Their customer service customer service isn’t good enough to follow up on the records and know that I didn’t show up and that I called and canceled the stay and that you guys are working on it for me
