Delightful historical hotel in an incredible location. Easy drive to the beaches and John’s Pass. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay for me! Delicious coffee, hard to find in many hotels ;) the parking was convenient but full by the end of the night (then again the hotel was fully booked when we were there) so something to keep in mind. Overall great stay, great price, convenient comfortable and friendly. Preferred their bed to the $640/night hotel we stayed in downtown Tampa the following night.

Our book club stayed a long weekend at the Crystal Bay Hotel and we loved it! The front desk staff is amazing and so helpful. Cassandra went above and beyond to assist us when we had a room issue. Breakfast was awesome, and the whole hotel has a lot of charm. The double queen rooms were laid out in a way that gave each person privacy, which was really convenient for sharing. Close to lots of great restaurants and to the beach.

The property was beautifully landscaped. The building is obviously old but could definitely use some TLC. The complimentary breakfast was amazing!! The staff was super friendly and always helpful. The pool wasn’t heated and never properly cleaned the whole time we were there (we were there for 8 days). All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is very old and needs updating. The hotel was being used for people that lost their home due to the hurricane so was busy. Very quiet despite this. Friendly staff. Street parking available. Not sure about the pool the weather was to cold.

The hotel is in a great location. Free breakfast is fantastic. My room was cleaned only one time for a weeks stay. That needs improvement. Water pressure is low. Could be better. Overall a nice hotel.

I had 2 back to back reservations at this hotel, one booked at the hotel and one booked through Expedia. To avoid changing rooms during my stay, I had to downgrade my reservation made directly with the hotel, therfore, I assume, they were not able to honor my VIP status. The hotel is very quaint, and clean. I found my room to be exceptionally noisy from road traffic. Based on my experience so far, I don't think that I would stay here again, I didn't find it to be a good value.
