The bathrooms inside our room has mold on shower/tub fixtures. Also, there hair left on shower walls. The staff (Tonya, in particular) was rude and unprofessional.

Great location, clean and good breakfast. But unfortunately I was given a room on the second floor above the event room which was rented out for a party. The first night was great but the second one I only slept for a couple of hours due to the noise. When brought up at the check out next day I was told that nobody complaint that I should have said something the night before so the issue could be entered in the system. Why would you place someone on a room right above the event room knowing there would a party?

Very clean room, much better buffet breakfast than most. We had an issue with the housekeeping department & when we brought it up to the desk clerk, all they said was “no worries,”

Here's a structured review based on your experience: Hotel Review: Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clearwater/US 19 N** Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clearwater/US 19 N for one night, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. **Check-In Experience:** Upon arrival, I encountered a significant issue with check-in. The young woman at the front desk appeared upset and was not welcoming at all. Rather than feeling greeted and appreciated as a guest, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. Her demeanor was off-putting, and it reflected poorly on both the hotel and the IHG brand itself. **Room Condition:** Regrettably, things did not improve once I got to my room. The smell was unbearable; it was difficult to determine its source, but the bathroom reeked of what seemed like dirty mopped water, while the overall room smelled similar to a high-school boys' locker room. This lack of cleanliness was incredibly disappointing. **Overall Impression:** In conclusion, my experience at this IHG property was deeply unsatisfactory. The unfriendly check-in process and the unpleasant conditions of the room indicate a failure at multiple levels. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this hotel in the future, as I believe there's much room for improvement in both service and cleanliness.

We were in Clearwater to assess damage from the recent hurricane. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly. A huge shoutout to Stephanie in the breakfast area. She was so kind and happy to help everyone.
