Good customer service but it was not what we booked

It's a beautiful building and welcoming however the photos in the listing that we booked was not what we got. The front desk manager tried to talk around the issue like she didn't know and blamed it on VRBO. But I looked at every listing I knew what condos cost more and what to expect. It was clean but it was not what we paid for. They did refund us money per night to make up for the mistake and said it was VRBO who got the photos confused. We booked a deluxe suite and the complex had us as a standard.Not cool for the price.However it is within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. We had a great time just probably overpaid bc our view was of some solar panels on someone's roof not a side view of the ocean. We saw nothing of the ocean from our balcony-Also the pool is very small-The pictures are deceiving and the pool bar does not have a stocked bar-They couldn't even make us margaritas.Not sure what that was about?

Clearwater family getaway

I booked this condo for a family getaway for me and my guy and our adult children/one grandchild. From the moment we got there, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The suite was nice and had 2 full bathrooms and one half bath. We also used the pull out couch. We loved the coffee bar and used it every day! So convenient to use the beach chairs and umbrellas every day also. The rooftop bar area is so nice with gorgeous views! The beach itself was just beautiful. We found lots of shells and sand dollars. The Palm and Frenchys are very close for dinner, as well as clear sky and lots of others. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We had an amazing time at The Avalon and would definitely stay here again!

Family Beach Trip

Overall, the location was perfect for us. The walk across to the beach was so easy and we loved having access to the beach chairs, towels and sand toys. What was also a nice touch was being able to get fresh towels every morning. The coffee bar was great and so was the rooftop pool. It was smaller than what we expected, but was warm and salt water. We spoke with Karen regarding our room and she was courteous and offered a nice incentive for us. Everyone at the front desk was pleasant and kind. We'd return to this property but next time we'd get the ocean view rooms. The parking was very convenient too and we all felt safe. Our room was very nice, clean and perfect for 4 guests. We wouldn't change a thing except we wished we had stayed longer!

We took the opportunity to combine a family wedding with a post holiday vacation. This place was great for our family of 5. Great kitchen. Close to beach. Short walk to center of town. We will likely go back again!

Great stay!

We stayed for 4 nights. Conveniently located within walking distance of everything but far enough away from the bussle. Staff easy to get a hold of and always available! Loved that we were able to check out towels, chairs and umbrellas free of charge. Beds were comfortable and clean. If I had to get picky would just suggest more kitchen supplies for cooking! Excellent stay!

Great family get away

Overall our experience was wonderful. Things were much more impressive than I anticipated. Our kids loved it and everyone we met was so wonderful and accommodating. The location really can’t be beat. There were super nice touches like the coffee lounge and a simple rooftop pool and bar with sunset toasts nightly. I was pleased with things like enough supplies for four loads of laundry and dishwasher runs (I think they give you one per night you stay) and the products were high quality. We really loved it. Only minor things were negative like the shag rug in the room being dirty but I think it’s due to being shag (long and catches a lot of stuff) but worn thin and the furniture is not the most comfortable type

Everything was excellent. Only issue we had was tv in master wouldn’t work and pull out bed was uncomfortable. The employees were very helpful and eager to make it better. I appreciated everything.
