WILL NOT COME BACK

We won’t return due to poor hospitality and service. Despite the well-done room and nice property, the lack of empowerment among staff to provide great hospitality overshadowed the renovations. Despite limited space, constant communication about parking and lack of solutions was frustrating. The website says you can pay for extra parking but they didn’t allow me to do that. I was told I’d be towed. A woman was also arguing with the same person about parking, worried about parking offsite in the dark as a female. When I returned to the hotel in the dark after parking offsite, I saw the front desk clerk writing down license plates and we all got a text that they would start towing. We received texts reminding us that there was no outside food or drink allowed at the pool, even when the pool bar was closed and there was no service. I was taking some items to the car on our last day and on my way back in, the woman working at the front desk told me to check out. I told her I already received my checkout via email. She yelled after me, “No! You have to come back and tell me when you are out of your room!” On our next trip…she FOLLOWED US TO OUR CAR! She left the desk and came out to our car to tell us we had to check out. We were furious. I let her know that we had a horrible stay thanks to that kind of behavior. She laughed at us. We let her know that she needed to leave us alone and not follow us around. We just left…upset.

Pictures and description are VERY misleading!

We booked this unit based on the pictures and the fact that it said “beach front”. We specifically wanted the gulf side of Florida because it is easier for my husband, who has MS, to navigate the shorter distances to the water. This unit was, in fact, beach front, but the beach was so far from the unit we were not able to even see it! The description also said chairs and towels were included on Ocean Club’s “private beach” which was true, but the “private beach” was an area of sand off the pool. The unit was a two bedroom unit but the only seating in the living area was a 2 cushion sofa and an awkward, uncomfortable chair. We made do, but it was disappointing. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the ocean - it’s no where NEAR that close!!

Great condo, but the beach is about 1/4 mile away. Very disappointing. The pool is too small for this size property. I was never told that the beach is that far from the front of the property. Won't return.

Weekend getaway

Staff was great. Room was beautiful and spacious. Views from our room were awesome and the 6th floor roof top view was amazing. I do believe we watched one of the most beautiful sunsets sunsets we have seen

Beach getaway

The beach club was very clean and enjoyable. Everything in the room was updated and clean - fridge, microwave, dishwasher, showers, washer & dryer. Staff were attentive and friendly. Always asked us if we needed anything as we passed by. Great balcony and view of the ocean! Not the coziest living room area. But there were TVs in both bedrooms. Overall we loved our stay at the beach club and would definitely go back!!

Very relaxing place to stay

This place was extremely clean and well taken care of. The bed was comfortable and being able to walk right onto the beach was amazing. My only complaint was that the beach chairs on the beach were and extra cost through a different company. I had expected them to be included but very likely could have misread the property listing. I was there during the week, so this may be different on the weekend - I found that the bar was not open very often. In the grand scheme of things I probably should have stayed at a hotel. If you're just looking for a place to relax where you don't need "things to do", this is perfect. The people at guest services were very kind and helpful with recommending local businesses to check out.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay

This property was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The view was fantastic and the pool, beach chairs and bar were great additions to the experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We loved it and hope to come back.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The room was the absolute cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. Amenities were great! Easy system to swap out for clean towels. Drinks at the bar were very good. Definitely recommend!

The unit was exactly as described and had a direct ocean view. The unit was super clean and had all the amenities (including shampoo, conditioner, body Wash, dish liquid soap, and laundry detergent). They allowed me to bring my fur baby as well!

Very nice place, facilities were great, only one security concern

This place lived up to the way it was advertised. However, we experienced an instance where our room door “magically” unlocked and while it was unlocked we had another resort guest come into our room thinking it was theirs. It took the manager using a different key card to get the door to lock again. The situation was explained away as “we have a glitch in the locking software, and at times it randomly unlocks doors. I was assured the system works 99.9% of the time. Seems strange that our doors was the one that got unlocked and had an unexpected visitor because of it. Nothing else was offered by management for the inconvenience or the thought left in my mind for the rest of the stay if we and our belongs were safe.

Just as we expected

Beautiful condo with everything we needed. I liked the wristband keys which made it easy for our daughter to keep up with hers and have some independence. Even with other kids in the building, it was easy to sleep in. You could hardly hear any other neighbors. Lots in the area with the boardwalk right there and even a bike rental place across the street.There were tons of sand toys and even boogie boards near the back gate for guests to use at the beach. Really enjoyed our time there.

Nice stay-

Property was as described. Very nice place. Pool and amenities excellent. Beach within walking distance. Living furniture comfort? Eh? It was okay, but honestly, we didn’t go there to sit in the condo. I highly recommend.
