Liked the balcony. Didn't stay long but some things were broken or molded. Smelt mouldy and musty in the hotels and rooms. Could here people in the room beside us using the shower.

Upon check in: the girl at the front desk didn't seem like she wanted to look up from her phone. (I get it, we were a late check in about 11:30pm, but once we got the counter, the phone should have been laid down). Our keys didn't work and we had to go back to the first floor to get them corrected. Then the room had a musty smell. The carpeting really needs steam cleaned, it had a weird feel to the bare foot. We went out the next morning, the "continental breakfast" was nothing but cold cereal and waffles. That was the worse, I have ever seen. When we returned to the room, our keys didn't work AGAIN...back to the front desk. We enter our door twice and both times the keys did not work. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room (other than carpet) was clean.

Night desk clerk a bit short with my wife, we didn't understand that there was no elevator in the back, strange split level setup , 2nd bldg however did have a visible outdoor elevator, but our choice was to, Park outback close to the door and stairs and haul our stuff up to the 2nd floor, or drag everything in the front and haul it all the way to the back and around (a bit maze like). Secondly, fridge was on all the way and barely cool, asked that they swap it w/a better working model, desk clerk (day), said he'd send mntc to look at, showed up quickly, said he'd check to make sure it was plugged in (?!?) or turned on properly, I jumped in the shower, my wife was out reading on the balcony, he left without saying anything, nothing was fixed or replaced. I wouldn't normally care, but we're there for several days and had leftovers and perishables. Ended up loading it with ice to keep it cold enough. We were there about 6 or 7 years ago, seemed somewhat nicer. Disappointing breakfast too, and coffee wasn't very good. We were just in the Quality Inn in Sarasota N/Bradenton the previous night, and it was much better.

Meh… not great

Meh… not great. Very very dated, many things in the room were broken or falling apart, including the toilet which wouldn’t flush all night long. Not good. Bed was comfortable, linens were very clean. Also, this is a FEMA hotel so many unhoused people live there.

What is Quality?

Quality means to meet or exceed expectations. My experience this time wasn't the best, but not the worst I've ever had. King size bed was comfy and clean. My only complaints were the leak from the ceiling(minor drip). But, after Tampa Bay just survived two hurricanes just recently, again, not anything I will harp on. My toilet clogged twice, but maintenance was right there with a plunger to fix the problem. If I could suggest new stoppers for the shower/tub. I am one who hates showering to with my feet in standing water. Lastly, the Continental Breakfast was inconsistent as far as having a fully stocked breakfast area each day. I would add that they only had one person working that area, and they were busy try to keep up with demand. So would I stay here again for the money in paid? Maybe not, but I'm blessed to have stayed here. Just remember "Quality" is defined as "meeting or exceeding customer expectations". Thank You. Have a Great Day ahead.

We were put in a room with a passthrough door and the people next door kept cartoons on all night long, which were loud. We asked the front desk to have them turn it down and it did nothing. Our room was a few doors down from the service hall and at 7:30am we heard the staff arguing for about a 1/2 hour echoing down the hall. We asked them to keep it down and they told us too bad. The room had dead bugs on the floor and pubic hair in the shower/bath. We asked to be put into a different room after the first day and they said they couldn't accommodate us. That night I went looking online and they lied about it. We moved the 3rd day after having more problems. We had prepaid and it was difficult finding last minute availability elsewhere. The breakfast consisted of one waffle maker, 2 cereal choices, 1 kind of yogurt and apples. It was very limited, so not worth the price. No elevator on our side of the building. The front desk were condescending. We asked for an extra towel, and blanket be put in the room and they didn't do it.
